Best Burger

What's the absolute best burger you've ever had, and where was it?

Take some time to really consider. Close your eyes, relax, and think it over.

An independent place here in my home town called "Three Brothers". They also do amazing chilli cheese fries.

...

In my kitchen.

Patty: Short rib meat, freshly ground just before forming the patties. Seasoned with S&P & cooked in an iron skillet. Seared crust on the outside of the patty, "medium" inside.

Toppings:
Homemade beer-battered onion rings (vidalia onions)
Kraft single x 2 (I am a cheese snob, but goddamn it if these aren't perfect for a cheeseburger.)
Benton's bacon
Homemade pickles with dill & garlic
Homemade spicy BBQ-garlic sauce

Buns toasted in the bacon drippings

The buns themselves were the only thing that could have been improved upon. I had pretty basic buns from the local supermarket bakery. However a potato-bread or brioche bun would have been better, IMHO.

>in my kitchen

>strips of turds on a burger

Fatburger

If we're talking chains, Max Hamburgare in Sweden, delicious, good meat, bread, sauce, and the burger almost looks as it does in the commercials and pictures. Pic related is my favorite of their burgers, the Triple Cheese.

Fries are good too.

23/77 chuck, homemade buns, little over quarter lb of beef, grill heated to 500 degrees, cook to done, make sure it gets flamed, add cheese. Toast bun, place homegrown slice of beefsteak tomato on a mayoed top slice of bun lightly salt and pepper the tomato, yellow mustard, sliced homemade pickles, romaine lettuce, horseradish, yellow onion medium fine dice.

hangover burger at the burger bar in vegas
pretty basic, but everything was just perfectly done. had the generic "special sauce" that a lot of restaurants have but it was perfected.
best fast food burg is either pretzel bacon from Wendy's or the new a1 buttery burger from checkers

I've never had a burger outside of my house or my buddies house that'd I'd consider good.....even the best burger restaurants are barely edible unless you are a fucking manchild

I went to your friend's house and his cooking was shit.

It was his "buddy." The parents can't know. Did you wonder why he had the best wine or put arugula on your burger?

Looks damn good. I can tell they're relatively light and fluffy, eventhough they look overdone. Good job. Nothing like homemade buns to go with a well cooked burger.

The Banzai burger from Red Robin.

No In N' Outs around here.

omg hej jonte

actually they weren't overdone you ignorant shit, learn more about baking before you attempt to judge it.

nej?

actual baker here. yeah they look dark, but that's because of the egg wash used to stick the poppy seeds on top. They are exactly that, light and fluffy. I have a pefect recipe for those fuckers. they make great bread too.

In n out. /Thread. Don't fight it.

I live in Tucson and there's a local joint called Lindy's on 4th. Honestly incredible burgers. Never had a burger so good. Plus they do veggie burgers which is good because I don't eat beef

>go live abroad for a few months
>decide on Prague as the go-to city
>life is ok, I miss my family and gf
>lifestyle of other students is too much for me, partying twice a week is fun, partying continuously 7 days a week is not.
>kinda stay in my room for two weeks.
>miss home even more
>best mate I met in Prague asks me out for burgers
>we have a great evening, just chat and drink beer in a relaxt setting
>burger is humongous huge, fries are amazing, beers are 2 euro for 1 liter, burger costs 4 euros
>later on we decide to go to the cinema and watch a decent tom hanks movie
>first fun night out in weeks

So yeah, I guess that was my best burger

Arctic Roadrunner in Alaska.

I think they put crack in them.

>bacon
>onion rings
>BBQ-garlic sauce
What is with people ruining a good cheeseburger by putting all this extra shit on it?

Bacon was made for burgers, deal with it.

I just don't understand why you people can't understand that burgers aren't supposed to be stupidly complicated. Meat, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard. That's it. That's all that should be on it, ever. Anything more is retarded and you should be shot in the head, you spastic.

>bacon cheeseburger is overly complicated

kys you minimalist liberal cocksucker.

>mustard and ketchup

You have the taste buds of a child. Stick to your tendies, Timmy.

It's retarded is what it is, you fat fucking dipshit, redditor.
>Duh, da bacon is da good 'cause da funny internet person said so
Neck yourself, cunt.

I prefer a cheeseburger to be relatively simple myself.

Bacon is great but I never liked it on burgers, I don't feel the flavor quite fits.

Oh look, terminal contrarianism, he let internet memes ruin bacon for him.

not that user but I can't see anyone over the age of 18 using the term "neck yourself"

It's just like trying to make saying kill yourself sound even edgier

Casino el Camino in Austin, TX. Burgers are huge, like almost a pound of meat. Also the cooks will make fun of you because it's just that kind of place.

>tfw hate "partying" but like social events, especially slower ones
>end up hanging out with friend's parents and their friends because their parties are more my pace

Always felt a decade or so off.

Man you need to chill. Burgers are for customizing to your own palette. It's the American way. The burger way.

homemade , ground venison with some garlic and pepper mixed in, topped with Swiss cheese, pizza sauce, and portobello mushrooms

Triple XXX Drive In in West Lafayette, IN.
1/2 lb. fully-dressed sirloin burger with grilled onions.
House-brewed root beer.
Perfect.

The Slav at Korzo in Brooklyn.
High quality meat grilled med rare, then let cool. Once cool it's wrapped in dough along with Eastern European style farmer's cheese, house made sauerkraut, juniper berries and paprika stewed pork. Then it gets dropped in the deep fryer.

At $16 I've had more expensive burgers (Spotted Pig, for example) but this was the absolute best. Pic related.

Strangely it was from Outback Steakhouse, they cooked that burger to perfection and had good buns too

I've had the Barney Burger

Bacon cheeseburgers are older than your grandma, they are and have been on every menu long before your love affair with reddit.

my own desu senpai

Johnnys Big Burger in clarksville tn. 50 year old greasy spoon diner but delicious.

In 1963 Dale Mulder of A&W invented the Bacon Cheeseburger.

>tfw no A&W within 500 miles

Plain burger on a bun, get on my level plebs

A&W has the best fast food burgers next to Cookout.

agreed

First time ever trying a whataburger. I ordered a triple meat. Couldn't finish it but it was by far the best burger I've had.

wtf is this real?

How is this possible?

shake shack

best veggie burger was probably at five napkin burger

The time burger king went "fuck normal cheese" and made the crispy cheese. Crispy onion, a mozzarella stick and bacon might have more fat than atoms, but damn it tasted good

i dunno, theres one nearby me and while the rootbeer tastes alright, everything else has always been mediocre. maybe its just a shit a&w

I was on a cruise ship and they had a Guy Fieri Burger thing. It was just a regular cheeseburger but it was fuckin' GOAT.

You can't /thread yourself you fucking retard

I love the Double Quarter Pounder

The M Shack B-9
9 oz. Dry Aged Ground Briskett Patty, Bacon Onion Compote, Melted Swiss and Provolone on Toasted Ciabatta

It's a 12 dollar burger but every bit worth it.

Black bean Burger, at home.

Lucky 13 in SLC

Culver's double bacon butter burger all the way.

A motherfucking Super Big Boy combo while crossfaded

Sometimes a simple burger can be very satisfying.

What was on it, besides the cheese?

Not at all the best burger I've ever had, but it's plain and simple, it's not trying to do anything beyond it's means, it's a plain patty in plain bread, ketchup & mustard, some chopped onion, a slice of cheesse, and a slice of pickle.

For it's price, it's it's quite adequate, two or three of these small things are a passing lunch, it's satisfying in a humble sense.

It was at this pub called The Nitty Gritty in Madison, WI. It's kind of gimmicky because they are "birthday bar" where everyone goes to celebrate their birthday, but they have this burger called the Lone Star Burger which is a Burger with cheddar cheese, pulled pork, cole slaw, bbq sauce, french fried onions, served on texas toast. It was fucking delicious.

Looks like an actual BIG mac, much better than McDonald's version

Shake Shack in New York when I was on vacation. I'm from Germany though and don't regularly eat burgers.

I had this Bacon burger from BK once in Brazil that had 4 patties and amounted to about half a kilo of meat.

I nearly fucking came.

For me, it is the McChicken, the best fast food sandwich

is the mcchicken made of chicken breast or is it reconstructed chicken meat product?

Burgermeister in Berlin, easily best burger I've had. The meat was amazing, nice crispy surface and soft on the inside. Pickles were also best I've had on a burger.

it's made out of strawberry milkshake from what i understand

When traveling the country w my ex, we stopped in Clarksville. One of the best pit stops in the country IMHO. Wouldn't mind living there for a few years.

My favorite burger was a homemade venison burger from a deer I killed.

My favorite fast food chain burger is probably a Cheeseburger from Sonic.

Best burger I ever had was a double bacon cheeseburger at some mom and pop place called Burger Joint in Las Vegas. Was a 2 minute drive outside the Nellis AFB main gate and it was a sad day when they shut down.

Gotta be Umami Burger. Looks average, sounds like a meme, turns out it's GOAT.

Farm Burger in/around the greater Atlanta area. Hands down one of the best damn burgers I ever had, and one of the few places that actually gave me a nice hot pink when I asked for medium rare.

Their shakes are really good as well.

SHAKE SHACK IS VERY TASTY

Just had a painfully average burger from a chain sports bar after Christmas shopping at the mall. Wife talked me out of going to shake shack and I regret it. It was OK, really elevated by the over easy egg. The nachos were good but it's hard to goof up nachos

Yeah if there is anything between the bun that isn't meat it's ruined.

I've never eaten a "burger".
I never intend to.

I'm sorry about your autism condition.

Why wouldn't you eat a hamburger?

>Steak and Shake
>Not painfully average

I went there about 6 months ago and I couldn't believe how mediocre it was. It wasn't bad, but it was just your run of the mill burger.

>I would never eat meat on bread, I only eat refined foods.

Do you realize what a retard you sound.

Terlingua burger at Hopdoddy. Fucking excellent.

Not saying they are the best place but I think shake shack is above average. They have a better burger then the sports bar place I went too anyways.

This user gets it.

Cooking your own food is one of the simple pleasures in life, plus you're free to make it exactly how you like it.

I'd say the best burgers I've had are the ones I've made myself too since most places I go to serve you kids size with a large side.

...

Banadorah, pretty fantastic.

What IS this terrorist shit?

Some burger I had in a restaurant a long time ago. I wish I could remember where it was so I can go again.

not that guy, but gyro is greek.

whatever, they're all terrorists to me

greek is one of the most christian countries in the world, but i know you are shitposting so ill just leave it at that.

I have to agree as far as a burger that perhaps others could try. The patty is perfect. I don't like their weird stacked creations with carm onion truffle umamiumami etc. but the burger itself is god-tier. My advice is to order it with whatever you usually like on a burger.

Fries are decent but that's a different story.

>there's no Christian terrorists
Oh an your saying that I'm shitposting????!

I swear all gyro places order their meat log from the same supplier.

The Heater from Mid City Grill. Johnson City, TN.
