Would adding water to my microwave when reheating rice bring it back to life? Would adding salt improve the flavor in a not completely artificial way?

I add a little water to my rice, cover it in plastic wrap, and microwave it. Same way we cook it in the restaurant.

just store your rice in a container with a lid, then slightly pop one corner on the lid and microwave it in that it'll be fine

if you're reheating rice, use a container with a tight fitting lid, maybe add a 15-20 mL of water, and microwave it with the lid open for about a min.

If it's not steaming at that point, heat it up more. If it is steaming, close the lid and let the container sit for 2-3 min.

Then check the consistency and temperature of the rice. It should be hot and fluffy, but if it isn't, add a little more water and heat it up again.

salt is for plebs that want to die of hypertension. don't fall into that trap.
