Mine uses a higher quality vinegar. Not even going to tell you what it is but Crystal is nigger-tier.

The one I'm about to make as I just got some things in for fermenting chilies. Going to go buy a shit ton of peppers right now and get the process going tonight.

Crystal is an acceptable choice for babby's first hot sauce. Pic related is how I get down.

Pretty new to hot sauce and I've tried sriracha, el yucateco, tabasco, etc but nothing beats it.

The hot sauce I make is way better than anything you can buy.

That's not even the good Sriracha.

Wtf is going on here.

Small batch hot sauce.

Far right: mild. Serrano, jalapeño, chipotle peppers fermenting. Will turn into hot sauce when they are done fermenting.

Right centerr. Hot. Serrano peppers, Fresno Peppers, Habanero peppers. Still fermenting.

Left center (bottled)- sweet pepper and habanero. Very spicy. It's fermented, so no vinegar. Lactic acid has a much smoother flavor than vinegar.

Far left. My best sauce: garbage sauce. Every time I finish a batch, whatever is left over that can't get bottled goes into my garbage sauce. Once it hits the top (like it is now) i make a single bottle and keep the rest going. It's continuously fermenting. Hasn't been refrigerated ever. Been fermenting for a year. It's noxious but extremely delicious. It's the best hot sauce on the planet.

Classic Tabasco is best used as a vinegar substitute.

Chipolte is good, the habanero is great on summer sausage. Their sweet and spicy is good on fried chicken.

Not hot but has great taste. For a basic "hot" sauce, Cholula has my vote.

I had some of their white habanero sauce but I have to admit that the color was so off putting that I dumped it in a batch of refried beans to eat.

Crystal is my everyday hot sauce. It wakes up just about any food without overpowering it with its own flavor.
