To devote any significant funding towards the notion that the climate is changing or that cheap oil is running out is to admit that such things are happening.
It's much easier to send troops to secure a puppet government over the world's 2nd biggest oil reserve.
Russia (then the USSR) tried in 1980 and failed. Now they're trying the puppet regime method in Syria.
Once the wheel starts turning in Washington, it's hard to change course.

The etymology of propaganda is propagation of church dogma. I view AGW as a new age church, climate scientists as their priests and a carbon tax as a new age tithe.

Don't need that first notion to address the second notion. That is fear mongering so my concern is the motive behind this tactic. Are we just building the church of the future on some obscure doom prophecy generated by super computers enriching this church in the process or are we actually trying to fix something here? I don't care if some movie star from Hollywood is the churches latest convert, it solves nothing.
If we want to address energy problems we need to first clear the table, the doom, the fear, and address the reality of the situation. What is more dangerous, energy depletion with ensuing resource wars or a changing climate, which has always changed? How can you ever come to a sound conclusion starting with a lie, a synthetic scenario? I just don't trust the AGW meme or the people behind. That is all. It needs to go into the trash and tell people what is really happening here, we may be at peak energy and entering a permanent decline, this is scary! Climate is not!

What pissed me of most about the documentary was the fact that they tried to perpetrate the fact that all gasses leaving refineries, factories, power-plants were evil CO2. The "smoke" clouds are just steam. I hope Leo gets sodomized by a core sample.

I heard he also didn't even know what a Chinook was, started complaining about global warming because his last film had to relocate to find some snow at one point in the cold season. Seriously, this asshole just needs to spend an entire winter in Alberta before he starts opening his hole about it. Of course these people are the ultimate hypocrites anyway, they want everyone else except themselves to cough up their carbon, reduce their footprints. Simple God complex and for what?
