Best Calculator?

Best Calculator?

The best calculator is whichever one is nearest when I need to do some calculations. Or whichever one has the most buttons.

TI N-Spire CAS.

nspire cx cas is better

TI36X Pro is a scientific calculator so I remember it was allowed on a lot of standardized tests. I'm not sure if they closed the loophole.
The solvers it has are neat but are kind of slow to use.

your smartphone for graphical shit and an 8 € casio calculartor for basic arithmetics

TI-84 plus

Ti-36X Pro or Casio fx-115ES are best scientific as they are allowed on most standardized/college exams

Ti-89 Titanium for checking your calculations in homework

whats the difference between this and the 991es plus?

i notice it has integer factorisation which is extremely useful

Abacus

this one is pretty neat

TI Voyage 200 even has a fucking keyboard and was required at my school

base 12 finger counting

anything rpn

I'm doing computer engineering. I have a 991 ES Plus and I won't be needing anything more than it for the next four years.
Do you think I should still buy a better calculator? I was thinking of the HP 50g since it has rpn and a better programming language but I'm not sure if it'd be worth it.

TI n-spire cx cas

i use a casio fx 100au. it's fine, i guess.

I'm an EE and I rarely use mine atm
Only class where it's allowed is my circuits class.
If you're fine with infix notation then you don't NEED to buy it of course

buy it if you're interested in messing around with it I guess

Also I don't know how much you've used rpn but just a warning: once you've used it for a while it may be very difficult to suddenly switch back to an an infix calculator, personally I'd be fucked during an exam if that happened just because of how many mistakes I'd probably unknowingly make

This

The always stabil TI 82

why are calculators so shit for their price

Me

>filename doesn't say Best Calculator?
What the fuck are you trying to do to my OCD asshole?

115es plus is the American branding and 991es plus is the European branding.

>Europeans have the bigger number
Why will Americans always be inferior to us?

>texas instruments
It's as if you guys actually like being jewed.

I'm a computer engineer, too, and a do not use a calculator any more. for simple calculations i use google, wolfram alpha or matlab/octave.
