Yfw comp sci is actually hard

>yfw comp sci is actually hard

i feel bad for you comp sci guys.

mathfags btfo.

>muh analysis

if you aren't taking AT LEAST number theory or combinatorics, or geometry, you are literally at brainlet tier math.

But analysis is much harder than number theory and combinatorics?

>babby's analysis is harder than the fields terence tao specializes in.

what is this freshmen doing here

>mfw doing maths and CS double degree

My CS curriculum has analysis, discrete math, linear algebra, stochastics and numerics - is this ok?

But Terrence Tao is literally the definition of a brainlet...

...

Me too, when people post threads like this my reaction is, what is a better major or double major for someone who likes math and is interested in computers?

Never had one good answer.

Literally tell me what is better fucking assholes! I'm still young enough that I could switch if there was a better option.

Calculus != Analysis

you double nigger

Would also like an answer to this.

Dick sucking

Jk. Literally wtf do you mean by interested in computers. Do you mean you actually want to build computers? Then go ECE. If you are le i want to make videosgaymes, head over to reddit.

Combinatronics and statistics are not real math.

>he thinks compsci is hard

analysis = analysis, german fag

CS and Finance/Economics

comp sci is easy

you realize C++< java, etc. were all designed so a braindead retard can make programs for them, right?

most unis have a double bachelor program, so that you can actually try both before choosing. I suggest you do one of those (they usually are a bit more selective though, which is good)

you cannot do number theory, combinatorics or geometry without a solid foundation in analysis and algebra you retarded faggot. the play pretend classes you're taking where number theory is a final exam on using the chinese remainder theorem or some weak shit like that are nothing

Brainlet tier maths is harder than anything in cs

This

Math undergrad here switched from CS last year. CS is a serious degree and everyone in academia knows this, just wanted to say this because I actually fell for the meme that CS is a meme.
Having said that I still think Mathematics is a better degree if you want to go into theoretical computer science.
