Let's talk sangwiches, particularly subs/hoagies/heroes/whatever you call them in your home
What kind do you like? What's your favorite one? I like Italian style subs....I like ham pepperoni, salami, provalone, and some veggies maybe spinach and olives and onions, and I like mayo on my sandwich generously as choice of condiment/dressing

would eat that sandwich, my man!
Colton Bailey
it's called a spuckie and it was invented in my hometown and i can go get one right now if i want and it will be better than yours
Eli Sanchez
I do like italian style, but I generally prefer roast beef, with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and mustard. If I have cheese, it'll be provolone or havarti.
Jayden Gonzalez
does your spuckie bring all the boys to the yard?
Easton Lopez
Not that into them desu since the bread to meat ratio is trash most of the time.
Evan White
Toss that shit out and put Genoa salami, mortadella, and capicola on there, cheese optional, with lettuce, tomato, onion. Olives and pepperocini optional. Dress with oil and vinegar. No mayo.
Also, everyone loves the classic meatball sub. Banh mi are pretty great. So is French dip. Po boys are good when they're not too dry. I also like subs with the classic roast beef/ham/turkey combination. Some places call this a "dagwood" or just make up a name.
Asher Young
i wanna make a new york deli one with the many thin slices of meat or philly cheesesteak. i think one of those is my next weeks project
Caleb James
>mortadella
its the fucking worst
"baloney" is better
Charles Fisher
I like plain salami, spinach, red onion, olives, tomato, cucumber, jalapeños, pickles, peppers, sharp cheddar, and plain yellow mustard. I will eat pretty much any sandwich tho, but fuck lettuce. I will take spinach all day any day. Also, unless it's pb&j, I like my sandwiches to be portable salads. Load those fuckers up with as much veggies as I can get in them! But no mayo. Ever.
Christian Fisher
banh mi is god tier
Brandon Sanders
I made a hoagie earlier with ham, turkey, salami, provolone, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomato, and garlic dill aioli. It was delish.
Luis Ramirez
if i'm at some whatever deli/subway: turkey or salami, spinach, pepperjack, cucumber, spinach, oil/vinegar/salt and pep, pepperoncinis
if i'm in nj/ny/pa: cheesesteak or buffalo chicken cheeseteak from hoagie haven oh my god
if i'm in california/west coast: french dip
Dylan Reyes
Agreed on the Italian, though your sandwich is all wrong: salami, soppresata, capicola, ham, provolone; good warm crusty bread, vinaigrette or giardiniera; lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, mayo optional. God tier.
I'd also argue for a good BLT or club (no middle bread): sliced turkey breast, Black Forest ham, smoked bacon, Munster & cheddar cheese, romaine, red onion, tomato, mayo, Dijon, & naturally, good bread
Blake Rodriguez
I usually start with a nice sourdough baguette, sometimes with sesame seeds on top. After slicing one third or so open, I butter one side and lay Gruyere and Cheddar on top. Next, I pop it in the toaster oven to toast/melt the cheese. After taking it out, I spread maple mustard one the non-cheese side. This completes the base. From there it varies depending on what I have, but I my meats usually consist spicy Genoa salami, Montreal smoked beef, mortadella, or Black Forest ham. Vegetables include romaine lettuce, pickles, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and shallots. I also like to put potato chips in.

That hoagie looks lame - no hot peppers, not a seeded roll, and no prosciutto/capicola/sopressota.
Also getting mayo?!? Wtf OP just oil/vinegar mix.
God you have so much to learn about italian hoagies.
Christian Peterson
