What's are you co/ck/s making?

what's are you co/ck/s making?

I cooked a prochetta for dinner

put it in your ass

I made a pork belly Pho with bok choy, cocoanut rice as well as bitches and hoes. It came out a bit spicy due to potent thai chilies.

...

Leftovers, though I did make some more garlic bread, pic related

1/7 New York Strip Steak out-of-pan shot

2/7 New York Strip Steak plated cut serving shot

3/7 New York Strip Steak grain shot.

Good: steak had no gradient from crust to center, was even color throughout interior

Bad: steak had no exterior crust. Needed more oil in pan, only used ~1 teaspoon.

4/7 Chicken Schnitzel pre-cook

5/7 Chicken Schnitzel plated

Gonna be making some ground beef and brisket hamburgers.

6/7 skipped... 7/7 Chicken Schnitzel grain shot

These came out... okay. If I microwaved all of these as-is the interiors of the thicker ones would be undercooked. But I'm gonna heat/finish cooking them in the oven over the next 3 days because microwaving fried chicken is foolish.

Also sorry about the rotations being off.

Looks really tasty

So does this god damn

I made some lamb ribs yesterday. Grilled then finished in the oven. Very fatty, cut most off. But my friends let me tell you

i had some leftover ginger from a lot of ginger tea (made with fresh ginger)
i made a coconut curry soup with brokkoli and cauliflower, the "cooked" ginger, some asian greens (soy and mung bean sprouts some mu err mushrooms) mango and some shrimps thai style
it was semi sweet and spicy and had a ton of flavor
my gf said it was better than in our local thai restaurant

Fuck that burger

How did you spice them? I want to start eating more lamb, but as an amerifag, everytime I buy a roast even in cryovac, it smells spoiled. I don't think I can find decent lamb in the US.

;-;

Lol I bought this lamb at walmart

And for the seasoning I just kinda mixed up some seasonings I had on hand - black peppercorn, cajun, cajun, jerk, garlic salt, etc.

...

Spices are burned but in a good way. Not acrid or bitter.

...

you mean a porketta?

i made a shaved steak snadwich from a roast of eye round, fried in butter and bacon fat and on rustic bread toasted in the pan juices with a shitload of hot mustard shit was so cash

I'm making gołabki. I'll show you when it's done.

That looks like a pork loin wrapped in bacon. Is that a pork loin wrapped in bacon?

I did a leg of lamb over a fire.

Elvis sandwich.

The look on a toddler's face when they take that first bite...oh shit yeah.

Bananas dusted with flour fried golden brown in bacon grease with bacon and peanut butter between two pieces of buttered bread fried in a pan like a grilled cheese.

>meat

I wanna make burritos but all I have is pork tenderloin and a stovetop/oven, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to cook it.

...

Any ideas for this I should probably make it soon

Dice it up and get creative bud.

Don't know how a 'fancy burrito' is made, just get silly with some meat, cheese, sour cream, and rice

Cant go wrong.

You can make a nice pork guisada. Great tacos.

Working on tortilla soup..

kek

pics of stove pls.

yeah I'm just real new so I have like banana peppers, jalapenos, some rice, and some onions so I'm gonna chuck all that in but I more meant like seasoning and things like that.

A little dirty from the weekend.

Not exactly burritos, but the recipe for Tacos al Pastor on seriouseats.com would work fine with a loin. I've made it with a pork sirloin and it was great. Pork sirloin isn't much different from a pork loin - both are pretty lean.

Pastor if you're in a hurry or carnitas if you have a few hours.

Pretty sweet setup ya got there.

I have an idea for a dessert, but I can't make it myself for reasons

basically it's spaghetti, but the "sauce" is the same thing you'd put inside an apple pie

why is your range / oven called big chill

Some low budget sushi.

>the same thing you'd put inside an apple pie
a dick?

no you double nigger, the pie's filling, or whatever that's called

it's called pie filling
