Yes, this board is just a place for undergrads to bitch about uni.

its self reported and probably accurate except tv. /b/ and /v/ are lowest because they absorb everyone including retards, /pol/ is next because its captures all the retards who are actual fascists and extremists in general rather than anything remotely moderate (moderates are treated as edgy on there). Then comes /mu/ and /sp/ which are just full of somewhat average normal people plus people who only know sports and are spergs (putting it below 100), and the rest of the boards are academic in some form. Then there is /tv/ which obviously lied

Attempting to measure the IQ of specific Veeky Forums boards will always fail due to the fact that certain individuals with a short attention span will most likely fail to complete the test and the demographic of users that are willing to participate in the experiment are bound to have a higher IQ than their peers.

However, boards with specific topics(Out, Sci, Lit, His, Etc.) are more likely to harbor users with a higher IQ than boards with no topic or a very vague topic(B, X, Pol, Mlp, Etc.).

Responding to OP's question, Veeky Forums is losing its grip due to the influx of users that create and participate in vague and non-thoughtful threads and do not have Veeky Forums as their most frequently visited board.
