it is more complex than that. Basically, the Belo Monte dam will not actually produce that much energy, it will be very expensive and it is only happening because a bunch of construction companies have been lobbying for it.

However, now that you're here saying it wasn't you, I think someone is going through the archives, looking for shitpost threads, and reposting them. I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the post election surge in /pol/esmokers making Trumpfag threads.
