Holy fucking shit.
Holy fucking shit
Is it good?
Why are tiny pint portions of ice cream the same price as gallon tubs of the same brand and flavor?
Literally every single ice cream container at the store is $5, every single one.
Is it to capitalize on women who want comfort food but don't want to get fat?
One of the most amazing things I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth.
Nope- it's all based upon how much of the costly ingredient it contains: fat. 'Premium' ice creams have a higher fat content than 'frozen dessert's than 'ice creams'. Gelato has an even higher fat content than 'premium ice cream'
In the US, gelato isn't required to have any dairy in it at all, since gelato is not a regulated term.
Enjoy your "premium gelato".
I mostly buy these to re-use the containers afterwards for storing ground coffee, sugar, cookie dough, etc. I haven't had the actual ice cream in probably two years.
By far the best coconut icecream I've ever had. The texture in particular is where it really shines. So dense with coconut flakes.
I stand corrected: it is indeed not in the CFR.
>i pay $5+ for plastic jars
