I'm able to do math once my professor teaches me how to do it.

When I was younger, I was part of an after-school math program for fun and I learned that Pi was infinite but I didn't believe them at the time so I started to memorize as many digits as I could in hopes of proving them wrong. After I got past 100 (which I thought was a lot) I realized there was no end. At that point (3rd grade) I just memorized 1 - 2 extea digits a week just to see how far I could get. I'm 23 now and can write down over 900 digits of Pi. I can't say them out loud for some reason. Something about writing them down on a sheet of graph paper just gets my memory flowing.

I'm kind of a Chad (play hockey and football, known to sleep around, model for a well known agency, spend a lot of time at the gym, etc.) but this is my super nerdy secret.

I have a degree in MechEng but am honestly not that smart. Memorizing pointless material seems to be the only thing I'm good at.

I use my HP 50g calculator and amaze my friends and family with my stack manipulation skills (without even using parentheses or the equal sign, wow!).

It was very hard to keep concentration while running at first.
Now it's a lot easier.
Not everyone then can dot math without pen and paper.
You can do with training though.

I can solve all the problems on my math tests. Sometimes I prove to myself that there are indeed 24 hours in a day when I forget because the numbers don't add up.

just about everyone on sci can do pretty serious math in their heads, it really isn't impressive, it just means you're probably in a math intensive field of study. I figure out most of my proofs in my head before committing them to paper, after all, why waste paper? Most sci autists are probably similar, it really isn't spectacular.

But the you have to write things down.
You seriously can jog or lie absolutely still for an hour while painstakingly going through all calculations/the logical steps of something in your head?

I can do blindfold chess from simple positions as well.
Building the tree of variations while standing still is relatively easy.
Doing it while running is quite hard.
But then, I suck at chess.
It's merely a concentration exercise.

I have hundreds of books memorized photographically. While running I can go through an entire book in a few minutes. This causes a mini-seizure but when I'm out of it I have new math in my head ready to fill a paper. Beat this.
