$1000 may be silly, be it is possible for LINK to be $100-500 in my opinion. The circulating supply won't be that high when LINK starts getting locked up in nodes, and if the entire crypto market really does boom to 20T, LINK could be a top 10 coin with a valuation of several hundred billion.

It's not the "marines" . The top 1000 wallets have adamantium hands. All the linkers with 40k links or above are not selling a single link. When there is actual buying pressure for Link (mainnet, partnerships, news) the price will skyrocket because the bulk of the link volume is held by anons that are not interested in dumping but they will take profits slowly and always keep half the stack or so to stake it in a node.
The lack of selling volume will drive the price up like a pressure cooker. Unlike any other project in crypto Link has a huge singularity potential..

To be worth 100 then link has to become worth 100 billion, or it has to become a solid no 3 or 2 in crypto ranking and be worth about 1/3 of all crypto combined. This is actually possible and user would have 100,000 which is a useful sum of money. To get a decent house nothing to special but nice enough you need about 250,000 in the US or Europe. I would therefore advise that the minimum recommended buy is 2500 link if you wish to get in the range of a decent car if link does to 10 and a decent home if link goes to 100. That is a life changing asset. If you want to have any chance of being independently wealthy you need 5-10000 link

The good news, to reach 100 and up will take time. So there is time to accumulate and buy dips.
