I feel like a smiley face is a sarcastic smile and clearly someone stuck his dick in my kungpao. But why did they do that? I tip 15% goddamit! Then I eat my kung pao, wondering the whole time if I'm tasting asian cook penis in the sauce. Wait two weeks before ordering again.

I enjoy a good smiley face. When I worked at dominos we would get online orders with requests to draw shit on the boxes. We had this delivery driver who just sat in the back making balloon animals. His dream was to open a crafts shop specializing in balloons. I got him to draw everything. But he wouldn't do anything that wasn't straight edge. Like if the request was a unicorn smoking a joint he wouldn't do it because it made him feel uncomfortable. I wonder where that weird little dude is now.

This. I put smiley faces on a lot of shit at work. It distracts me from my misery. I don't do it on customer items or receipts though. If a coworker asks me to set something aside for them, I'll write their name and put a smiley on it. I also put smileys on the end of notes I leave for the people who open.

Someone can want some other stranger to have a nicer day without wanting to fuck them, you know...?
