Veeky Forums Wizard Staffs should be a Saturday tradition. If you guys do it next week, I'll join you.

You drink a beer, and then tape your empty can to the bottom of your fresh can. Works better if you tape it before opening your new one. Each beer you drink progressively builds your wizard staff. Whoever has the longest wizard staff at the end of the night gains wizard status. It didn't happen last week because this is the first Veeky Forums wizard staff thread as far as I know...

Sorry, whoever has the longest staff has wizard status, not at the end of the night. There are different rules and challenges and shit. Look it up. It's a great game to play with friends. I never have days off with my friends, so I'm doing it here. Veeky Forums needs more shit like this. People here can't seem to cook anymore, but I'm sure a lot of us can drink!

Repeat the process until you realize you're alone on a Saturday night watching Requiem for a Dream, you've consumed 12 beers, and you now look like a fool holding a bunch of beer cans that are taped together and leaking everywhere. Wonder how you got to this point in your life. Go to sleep. Repeat next week.

I'm just bitter since I'm staying sober and can't take part. Figured I'd try to make light of the time I tried to do this alone and sad last year. Didn't mean to bring down the vibes. It would be cool to see this become a tradition though even if I don't partake, cheers guys.

Given 15-20 minutes to comfortably consume a 16oz can, I could probably drink standard strength beer (4-6%abv) indefinitely at that rate.

Well hey, it doesn't have to be a wizard staff exclusive. People like liquor. For me it's an excuse to drink lots of cheap beer, and I love malt beer. Still tho, any thread that gets us hanging out and not telling each other how much we hate each other for not liking things exactly the way we like them would be a pleasant change from the normal Veeky Forums bullshit...

Wizards is a fun game but it doesn't work as well without things like magic spells forcing underlings to drink more.

We gotta make it work however we can. If this becomes an actual thing, we can absolutely implement spells and levels and shit. For now we are just taking baby steps.

This isn't my thread. This thread belongs to Veeky Forums. This should be a place for everyone to get together and have fun! Get drunk! Fuck the craft beer, fuck the expensive scotch, let's just see who can build the tallest wizard staff! It doesn't matter what you drink, just matters how much! I'm up for next Saturday. I'll start cracking open during the Taboo livethread on /tv/. Although wouldn't the American participants be at a disadvantage? Their beer cans are tiny, like coke cans. Their needs to be two seperate staff categories.

Pretty sure American cans are 355mls. What's important is they are the same width. That way only height will determine how much each person has drank.

What's the point of playing Wizard Staff online? Wizard Staff is fun because you can order other party-goers to do stuff if your staff is long enough, and eventually get so drunk that you have sword fights with your staffs.
