you won't "make it" but you will make a killing
if one moons without the other put the gains into the other one - REQ and LINK pumps are highly staggered, you can increase your stack of both immensely by doing swapping between them every month or so

I agree with what someone said about not being too diversified but I also think you dont want to go all in on 1 or 2 projects. With 3k I'd say go in on 2-3 coins total. 1.5k or 1k each. That way you can sustain losses if one coin shits the bed. Overall I would dump LTC/BTC/ETH because your not gonna make big gains off those. They are safer sure, but I mean the goal is to make money. Even then those big coins can still fuck you. Take the risk imo and try to get some decent returns as long as your following the rule of not investing more than you can lose.

How about me? My main problem is that I want to get into like 2-3 other projects. Those projects being BNB/GVT and OMG at the least, but I dont want to really take money out of what im holding now and I dont currently have more fiat to enter the market with. Thoughts?

Yeah I'm putting about a grand a month in and plan to continue to do so for the rest of the year. There are so many projects being shilled everywhere it makes it tough to pinpoint specific ones with true potential.
