Weird Sandwiches

What are Veeky Forums's thoughts on the Elvis?

Made one on a bagel once in the dining room at work.
Fucking amazing. I can see why Elvis ate himself to death on them.

McNugget Band Tier

Love em. I like to add a bit of preserves or jam if I've got some too. I haven't eaten an Elvis sandwich in months, I think I should get on that.

Delicious, but I use waffles instead of bread.

>not pan fried
you're doing it wrong user

That plate is over 20 years old

Waffles? You're a wildman.

What jam is recommended?

I would have felt too bad about myself if I had fried it.

no jam just bananas

Sometimes I put peanut button on a BLT. My family thinks its gross but I think it totally works. Just can't use too much.

Do you think a fried egg would work here?

Sorry man, the Elvis is made with actual good bacon, white bread, and fried bananas. The king of rock and roll didn't eat bacon bits or whole wheat wonder bread...

Why would it have bacon on it?

i've never had an elvis, feels like i would be punishing my body too much

i don't know if the rich yolk would anything it, i definitely don't think the egg whites would be appetizing with the other components. but then again, never had one.

Waffle sandwiches are superior. Taste better, and no issue with crumbs!

Peanut butter is also good with sweeten condense milk, I've packed waffle sandwiches with peanut butter and sweeten condense milk.

Jam is optional, if I'm feeling decadent that day.

I like strawberry or blackberry. I've tried blueberry too and that's good. Wondering now how it would be with marmalade. The sandwich doesn't need jam, but it's a nice touch.

Jam, peanut butter, bacon and bananas. I like all these things.

For umami factor

Beautiful

Pretty great.

I skip the lettuce and tomato altogether, and just go for the peanut butter/bacon combo.
Toasted, ofc.

where's the honey?
