I haven't got around to trying the taro stuff yet tbqh, so I can't really say. I really do like this stuff, all weeaboo-ness aside. It's slightly thicker than the average drink, not too much but a little, with a nice citrus-y flavor note. I'd definitely recommend trying it when you can again user.

Japanese beer, the mass produced kind anyway, are usually pretty good but usually overpriced. I think they use rice as part of their brewing process and it gives it a more tangy flavor than most American macro brews. Pretty good, I'm torn between Asahi and Saporro.

I pick up this and kona coffee pretty often.

When I lived in Nagoya I'd always look for this stuff. I've never found this stuff in the US and I'm not even sure if it's around anymore because the prices online to the US are fucking insane and Asahi dropped it from their soft drink website, but this is easily the best ginger ale I've ever had. It's light and carbonated like a regular soft drink, but burns-your-nostrils spicy on the finish. I'd kill to have another.
