i remember having one of these when i was out with my family sometime ago in new york, i bit into it and it was the most utterly revolting texture ever, nowadays the meat inside those things i've seen is pretty white but what i bit into was atrocious, like dark grey with barely noticable traces of purple. i chewed it and spit it out and asked if i could have another one because it was so fucking nasty. the next one managed to be even more revolting, i took a bite out of it and this extremely chewy small knot terrorized my mouth. pair this with an unnecessary amount of mayonnaise and wilted lettuce - made for what was an extremely obscene texture only magnified by the fact that after i spit it out again and tried another spot on the fucking thing (because i felt bad about asking for another one) the same fucking shit happened, i threw it out and i haven't ordered one of those pieces of shit again let alone eat there.
