Margin is a tool by whales to fleece the greedy goyim of their sheckles.
The math is inherently biased against whoever uses margin.

Normally if you lose 6% one day, and you gain 6% on margin the next day, you're down 0.5% total.
This effect is amplified with loans.
Now you're trading with 12%, you lose 12% on one day, and make 12% the next, you're down 1.5% total.
The costs of being wrong are tripled, not doubled relative to your leverage.

No one uses leverage to risk a measly 1%, so most people end up risking 20%.
You have to trade much higher than a 50% win rate just to break even.

Given that most people are only 50% right with short term BTC swings, it's a guaranteed winner for the house.
