doubt they have it outside the nyc/tristate area but i've had their vanilla and it's absolutely orgasmic. they sell them at whole foods and it's like seven dollars but i've never had ice cream as good.

Never tried Ben & Jerry's before so I won't make any comparisons. HD's tub ice creams are great though.

However, their bars are terribad (pic). The chocolate coating is way too sweet and they just melt (because it is 50% sugar). My tongue just falls off and shrivels up because it's so fucking sweet.

I've tried about half a dozen flavors and liked them all (we have a poor selection where I live, made more limited by the fact that I don't like chocolate ice cream).

Agreed, Ben and Jerry's has too much going on at once. Half of it is icecream, the rest is just solid chewable material. Better than a lot of other icecreams, but Haagen Daz is where it is at.

I did a store locator search and found some in the New England/Mid-Atlantic area. I'm taking a trip out there this fall. Is it worth going out of my way to scope some? FWIW, ice cream is my favorite dessert.
