Use crunchy peanut butter
I used to put my ppj in the toaster oven for 5 minutes but lately I've been putting it in the freezer along with a glass of milk for about 10 minutes before eating it. Toasting it is nice but I don't like the warm peanut butter dripping down my fingers.
Cook it in a pan.
Is white bread the ultimate ppj bread? Wheat bread and nut bread are too strong and the flavors conflict. White bread is almost perfect for this kind of sandwhich.

Dumb dumb. More peanut butter is the trick. AT LEAST 3/8" thick. And don't use jelly like you're on welfare. Get some preserves
