Sick foods

Ok, so ive woken up with painful sore throat and chest infection. I've got a course of antibodies from the doctor, some brandy and some nursey porn, but are there any foods i can eat that will help me feel better? Not really that hungry to be honest.

As someone who actually does take $1500's worth of mouse/human chimera antibodies a month - no, you're not on a course of antibodies.

For me the best hangover cure is Wendy's chili

raw chillies hurt when you eat them but they really help afterwards

Ginger and lemon sliced and put in a jar of honey can soothe the sore throat. Spoon the infused honey into hot water or choice of tea. It's what I use for the sore throat I often get from having shit sinuses.

lemon + honey mixed into some water is good for a sore throat

i always find eating a pretty spicy dal (indian lentil dish) goes down well and makes me feel better for most illness too

and for maybe a less common one i personally find coca cola/pepsi settles my stomach well and obviously sugar + caffeine is a big (if short lasting) energy boost

This stuff is watery, with bland starchy noodles, and tiny chunks of what may have been somewhat related to chicken at some indeterminate point in the past.
Quite simply shite you would never dream of touching usually.

It is (for me anyway) the finest "sick food" I have ever found.
Doesn't fill you up too much.
Taste is fairly bland so it won't trigger anything that way.
It's mostly fluid so it stays down better than solids if you're struggling with that.
And if it does want to escape, fluids are easier to "release into the wild".

t. bitter sick man, you know what the guy meant

OP I am also sick, and I made a crapton of chicken fajitas with black beans, onions, and peppers, been eating that for the past day for every meal and I'm about to head down for another helping of 2 or 3 to finish it off. If you can't taste anything anyway you should go for something that feels like it tastes good in your mouth, whatever that might be, and is high in protein to help your body rebuild. Keep your fluids up as well but go with something palatable in texture that is good for your health while you can't taste anything.

Pic related looks like roadkill but now that I'm getting my sense of smell back, smells and tastes fucking delicious.

Breakfast in bed

Make some chicken broth and create a soup with champignons, carrot and glass noodles. There are amino acids in the chicken broth that'll do wonders, you'll get your daily dose of healthiness, and you get to sweat out the sickness.

Chicken noodle soup, man!

Sodium and heat to help make you feel a little calmer, but the most important thing is that you get enough rest.

Get well soon, user

your a goner. I'm go start digging your grave.

I am a big fan of ancient white people medicine. Canned chicken noodle and lemon lime soda. Take it easy and stay hydrated.

My heart just warmed at the thought of this combo. God bless my white ancestors and corporate America.

Actually just got one today for the first time. Was pretty good really, virtually no heat though.

aloe juice mixed with coconut water

it has since replaced my usual gatorade whenever i'm sick
