I feel like the hype comes from people who don't live near one. Otherwise it's just an above average fast food burger.

For me it's the Chicken Carbonara from Quizno's - intelligent, nihilistic, and with extra sauce.

In n Out Burger hype would only be a fraction of what it is if it were not based in California.

I have to say firehouse does do a pretty decent sub, I'm okay with jersey mikes too. Their large is 16 inches, great for a lunch then a dinner warmed back up. Philly FTW.

Crown burger hands down. I've tried whataburger, in-n-out, Texas burger, culvers, shake shack and plenty of others. The pastrami Burger from this utah chain beats them all.

Five Guys is probably the tastiest, but it's far from the best value. Any local burger joint will have a better burger for half the price, and chains will have a burger half as good for 1/10th the price.
