Do you want gravy over all?

Do you want gravy over all?

I had a breakthrough once when I poured sausage gravy meant for biscuits all over a Monte Cristo-style fried sandwich.

1 gravy please

>I had a breakthrough once when I poured sausage gravy meant for biscuits all over a Monte Cristo-style fried sandwich.
That actually sounds incredible. I have to try this tonight.

no i hate soggy fries

Yes, including the gravy.

Looks fine just like that.

report back if you live to tell the tale

I like going to Dennys and getting their country fried steak with gravy

So good

is there even a biscuit under that? you already have something to dip your fries in you dont need so much gravy.

What the fuck is that thing?

is the white blob a meatball?

It's a biscuit with gravy over it.

ITT : fat stupid americans

>Never having had biscuits and gravy

Most people outside America have never had biscuits and gravy.

Most people outside the southern US probably haven't had it either.

Good. This thread can get fucked then.

that's not even remotely true. It's a southern food originally but it's incredibly common in any non-coastal state.
Just cause you city scum don't know what it is doesn't make it swamp food.

i'm not a fucking canadian, i don't put gravy on my fries. jesus christ, don't ever speak to me again.

And there's a reason virtually everyone in the south is obese. I love biscuits and gravy, but you can't eat it very often or you'll look like a Trump supporter. The biscuits have 4 TBS of fat (butter, lard and/or crisco) to 2 cups of flour, let alone the fat from the sausage gravy. Having said that, once every couple months I'll make and eat a plateful because it's so damn good.

I've lived in the south my whole life faggot. It's not on the same tier as like turtle soup but it's not ubiquitous enough like BBQ that people frequently don't know what it is.

I'm in the midwest, sausage and gravy is everywhere here.

They're fairly popular in smaller towns/rural parts of the northwestern US. A lot of the loggers who settled out in the Oregon/Washington woods were originally "hilltoppers" from Appalachia, so maybe that's part of it.

Even asians know what BBQ is, that's not a valid comparison you varmint shooting retard

good, fuck the south.

Nothing better on a cold morning
Gram would make:
Biscuits and sausage gravy
Hashed browns
Chipped beef
Fried corn
Best breakfast ever

What is white gravy, exactly? Seriously...an alfredo type thing? Gravy is usually chicken or beef based...but white is...what?

Bechamel. Americans think theyre cultured for calling mother sauces gravy.

It's a white sauce. Bechamel.

bechamel. Basically reduced milk with sausage salt and pepper. It's good.

Thanks guys, I'll look it up...curious, ya know?

If it's the normal white gravy for sausage biscuits and gravy, you cook ground sausage meat then use the grease left as the fat and add in the flour and cream and cook into a gravy. It's like beef or chicken gravy but made from the sausage. If it doesn't include sausage for some reason, then I don't know how they make the gravy.

I saw this fucking thread this morning which gave me a craving. So I went out and satisfied myself.

post your snapchat

A-user that seems like a really bad idea...
