A lot of people here call this guy a meme chef, but he taught himself to cook and cook well, he did the hard yards to build up his restaurant to what it is now.
I've been watching a few of his videos on YouTube about basic cooking techniques.

I cooked a steak in the same manner as he did and it came out perfect.
No it didn't. The steak was underseasoned (or rather unseasoned. The one demonstrated in the video was also sloppy either because it was a prop setup or he salted the meat before airing it to dry.
While Heston gets a lot of things right, he gets the seasoning wrong.
That said, there's some debate to be had there, so I won't get into it.

Because this goes into personal beliefs regarding how steak should be made, whether generality is actually valuable in cooking, and it all comes out awash given that the jew is focused on non-generality with most of his food-type-decorations (It can't be just food since there's so little of it on most of his plates)
