Theoretical PB&J

what is the absolute best way to make a PB and J sandwich?

>price and time are non factors

>the sandwich must have, peanut butter, some form of jelly, and be layered in between bread

disscuss

call me basic but brownberry italian, jif smooth and smuckers grape jelly cant be topped

maybe toast the bread a lil

3 parts peanut butter, 2 parts jelly,1 part this (substitute molasses)

mix all ingredients and then spread onto two slices of bread.

raspberry jam
natural peanut butter
white wonderbread

bare scraping of peanut butter on one bread

thick but even peanut butter on the other bread

jam on the bread with just a scraping of peanut butter

milk to drink

Toast bread, spread chunky peanut butter on bread, assemble sandwich, throw jelly in the trash, pour a big ass glass of milk.

>Red Raspberry Jam w/ Seeds
>Natural Peanut Butter, stirred hard but with still a hint of crunch
>Slightly toasted, mostly soft, yet full white bread -- none of the swiss cheese, hole-filled shit
>Tablespoon of sriracha
>Side of spicy mayonnaise for dipping

Use french toast, add nutella to french toast slices, add bacon (must be crispy), and then add pb and j.

I call it the 'MAGAndwich"

Grilled pbj&cheese

Brie or munster

Super soft, basically lab grown, sliced white bread
Preserves, jam, marmalade, etc. Anything but poor people jelly
A fucking dick ton (1/4" at very least) of smooth pb

Peanuts grown on the ISS
Salt chemically harvested from an Egyptian mummy
Sugar made from the glucose in the blood of young snow leopards
Hydroponic wheat raised in caves 1000 ft underground
Grapes from a garden in Raqqah

...

You could preserve a cow with the amount of salt in that meal

Still unsure which one would be the easiest to get and which one the hardest.

I'd figure grapes grown in raqqa would technically be the easiest. Sugar would be the most difficult.

ratio of peanut butter to jelly MUST be 2 to 1.25

LOOK OUT THAT BULLET'S GOT A GUN

By weight or volume?

volume

damn you I laughed

Here's what I do every time I make a PB&J
>Homemade 100% whole wheat bread made with wheat from your garden.
>Homemade crunchy peanut butter using legumes shipped from Africa.
>Grapes from your garden stomped into jelly with your bare feet (after walking around the lawn barefoot for 20 minutes)
>Apply peanut-butter with your heated self-forged aluminum infused steel blade.
>Apply jelly with iced self-forged copper infused steel blade.
>Pluck apple from apple tree inherited from George Washington himself.
>Cut into quarters with your aluminum infused blade.
>Garnish sandwich with apples.
>Weave your own table cloth using cotton from Farmer John's field. (Only after making your own cotton gin)
>Collect clay from the nearby river. Superheat it and form it into a plate.
>Kill your pig and harvest its fat. Turn that fat into a candle.
>Use a flint and steel to light the wick.
>Sit down for a delicious PB&J with apples, assuming the flies haven't gotten to it already.

OP you have to add bananas. not too many people do it but DO IT. cut up a banana into thin slices and put it in between. Enjoy with milk. try it

That could be good if you weren't such a faggot.

I just toast whole wheat bread slices, apply peanut butter and grape jam.

I'd grill it but this shit's already messy as fuck.

That was the least funny thing I've read in a long, long time.

Peanut, jelly, and bread

>toast bread
you dont just do that to everything

Ideally, I'd roast my own green peanuts and grind them with a little salt to make a basic semi-coarse natural peanut butter.

Then I'd make preserves with blueberries, huckleberries, and dewberries, with a little ascorbic acid and pectin added for stability.

Finally, I'd make a loaf of cinnamon-raisin spiral bread and cut 3/4" slices. Assemble the sandwich with peanut butter on each slice of bread and preserves in the middle. Then lightly grill the sandwich on a griddle with a pat of sweet cream butter.

I want to fucking kill you

>Italian Herbs & Cheeses bread
>no cheese
>don't toast it
>peanut butter
>jelly
>2 cookies and a drink

That video honestly has good advice up until she starts throwing random shit on.

toasted bread, spread crunchy peanut butter on both pieces of bread (THIS IS IMPORTANT), apple jelly

Grilled with Mercian cheese and banana.

Unrelated, but I'm eating peanut butter for the first time and my God this is seriously one of the best experiences I've had this year!

>for the first time

how?
is it not common outside america?

Smooth rules.

So good.

>is it not common outside america?

No. How can you not know this?

Toast bread
Creamy peanut butter
Preserves of choice, I prefer strawberry
Fruit of choice, I usually use banana or strawberries

I'm from Finland, we don't really eat this sort of stuff. Or at least it isn't popular among my circles. We're very pragmatic when it comes to food.

I've never had a PB and J sandwich.
Is it good? The bread here is much less sweet than US's, or that's what I've heard.

I feel like my heart is slowly being smothered by this.

I'll try that next time. I just bought the cheapest one and it's chunky. I saw some Nutella on the self as well.

I've never lived outside the country and you take small things like that for granted, perhaps?

You buy that fucking Nutella mate.
Britbong x

Literally hurts my teeth to imagine eating that

Will do.
I'll force my friends to try this delicacy as well.

>The bread here is much less sweet than US's, or that's what I've heard
That's a meme. But who knows about the south, what they call iced tea is basically a syrup

peanut butter isn't very popular outside of america in general, I've never eaten or even heard of anyone eating a PBJ sandwich over here

I get my shopping at Asda m8.
It's the UK leg of wall mart.
I only go there because they are the one place that does a bread i love.

I wonder what a PBJ sandwich would taste if made with rye bread.

Fucking awful

I'm still going to try it.
I fucking love rye bread.

Ill call you a basic dingleberry Italian

Just tried something and it was fucking amazing. Put equal parts peanut butter, strawberry jelly, and Nutella in a bowl. Then, throw in pieces of crispy bacon. Mix it, and stick it on toasted bread. You won't regret it.

Sweet tea is amazing you fucker

>bare scraping of peanut butter on one bread
>thick but even peanut butter on the other bread

More people need to have this opinion. It's important to seal the jelly in to avoid bread sogginess.

Nah, that's just the sugar getting you all excited

What an obnoxious stupid video. I regret spending the three minutes I did watching that. Bad advice that's either opinionated or stupidly obvious, and she has a weirdly cunt like attitude for a YouTube cooking channel. Lastly, their peanut butter is wildly out of date.

toasted.

fuck all nay-sayers

God fucking damn it

toast bread
throw away jelly
put on marshmallow creme instead

>nutella

this shit needs to stop, nutella is nothing but knockoff chocolate, there is nothing interesting about it, and despite it being smoother it's harder to ingest than peanut butter, which is a feat because my dumbass has choked on many a PB&J

If you like Nutella, you're probably the same moron who thinks sandals are appropriate in any capacity and probably watched that gay faggot get called out on survivor in real time like the bitch nigger WASP you are

I've done it with a light, seedless rye. Not bad.

Ideal PB&J:
lightly toasted whole wheat
raspberry jam
crunchy peanut butter

That is all.

I've never had one and I don't want to. I think jam is disgusting and too sweet and white bread is unhealthy af. The combo is basically carbs on carbs and sweet af.

Gotta go back to Veeky Forums now.

so, basically a sugar sandwich?

Yeah, sucking cocks is healthier than that. Fuck this, Veeky Forumsbro.

you do when the sandwich contains peanut butter, you degenerate.
