they don't
they also dislike food without at least 20 additives

Of course we do. So does everyone else, the French invented it. That being said i really only buy canned beans for those times when i don't want to soak and cook beans for the entire day. I'm just not a dedicated bean boy.

*they don't realize it
(just to avoid missunderstandings here)

>crop failures in the Mediterranean caused produce rationing in half of Europe this year

Yes, we have a rather large variety of produce available to us, jelly?

>not buying frozen veggies
Stay pleb Europoors.

do americans really do this?

400lbs+ difference between the 2 men posted, factually speaking. Let's not pretend Britain has any less of an obesity epidemic than America.

Burgers also can burgers.

Every American grocery store has more fresh veggies than 2 or 3 eu stores combined. I don't think eu realizes how big American super stores are until they visit

and chicken

>non American name and website on can

????

Nah we've gone the way of poor asians with chickens they roam wild in packs across America now. When we want chicken we just reach out our windows and snap a neck.

doesn't change a thing
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(food)

>Spam is an acronym standing for "Specially Processed American Meat" or "Specially Processed Army Meat

Yuro here, I buy canned legumes all the time because I can't be fucked to cook them myself.
Also canned tomatoes for sauces.

enjoy your bisphenol a

>I'm just not a dedicated bean boy.

It's not an American thing if it's made by another country
Not american

>It became part of the diet of almost 30% of American households

>Spam is an acronym standing for "Specially Processed American Meat"

>Spam that is sold in North America, South America, and Australia is produced in Austin, Minnesota (also known as "Spam Town USA") and in Fremont, Nebraska.

>Austin, Minnesota also has a restaurant with a menu devoted exclusively to Spam

>Spam is celebrated in Austin, Minnesota, home to the Spam Museum. The museum tells the history of the Hormel company, the origin of Spam.

not american

I usually opt for frozen myself. I only buy canned tomatoes and beans.

I prefer this since I sometimes buy vegetables I don't use on a regular basis so it's nice that I can still get some veggies without letting them go bad

Isnt buying canned beans better so that the compounds that cause gas break down more?

wrong boyo, spam is a contraction of spiced ham

tetrapak kid

I've been to the Spam museum, it was pretty neat. I even got a t shirt.

>based also
>be winter
>go to get fresh veg from garden
>plants dead

>what are winter vegetables
>what is a glasshouse
>what does growing indoors mean
>what is a cellar
>what does storing vegetables mean
>what are pickled vegetables
>what is a fridge
>what are supermarkets

oh shit, you should try google sometimes

Canned vegatables are:
>cheaper
>easier to store
>last longer

I prefer fresh, of course, but I keep some canned and frozen veggies around in case I wanna cook something and don't have time to go to the store. It's just useful.

butttt if it's cannned it's already cooooookkked and just needs to get gently waaarrmmed

huh, if only someone else had thought about growing vegetables in your fridge think what the world could be

>filling your back yard with an obnoxious greenhouse
>growing indoors and allowing all sorts of nasty water parasites in your house
>using the cellar for anything but your wine
>he still pickles anything in 2017

Gramps, get off Veeky Forums this isn't the place for you.

>oh shit, you should try google sometimes
oh shit you should try thinking sometimes and not being a fucking redditard dumbshit for life

Those cans cost 10 cents to 37 cents per each. Please splain where you can get fresh for less

How easy is it?

>what are winter vegetables
>enjoy your 24/7 kale you cunt
what are parsnips, leek, savoy cabbage, brussel sprouts, spinach, ...

>what is a greenhouse?
can't argue against this

>explain how it works in sub zero temps, dumdum
what is a northern greenhouse
waldenlabs.com/5-northern-greenhouse-examples/

>what does growing indoors mean
>what is cost-effectiveness
no one was talking about costs here

>what is a cellar
>what is an apartment
many appartments do have cellars

>what does storing vegetables mean
>what are canned vegetables
or toss them in you cellar or food storage without any harming additives

>what are pickled vegetables
>what is taste?
they are healthy and taste great if you are doing it right

>what is a fridge
>what is time?
is it as time consuming as shitposting on Veeky Forums

>what are supermarkets
>what are seasons and prices?
again: what are winter vegetables?

>explain how it works in sub zero temps, dumdum

It traps heat from the sun. Works great, even in very cold climates. My uncle lives in Vejle, Denmark. He has a greenhouse in the backyard and has fresh vegetables year-round.

Have you ever been around a greenhouse? It's shocking how hot it can get inside one.

frozen > canned > "fresh" scam

>thinking those are real tattoos

Do europoors really do this?

>what are imports

It's not just an american thing. It's an 'insurance against lack of access to fresh produce' thing.

You can also get pretty much anything chopped and frozen in the UK.

Trump made special trade deals with England then proceeded to tell the rest of the EU to essentially starve.

>mfw Daddy Don sends veg to bongistan just to piss off Brussles

England has no exclusive trade deal with the the USA, retard.
Not a single one.

To quell the uproar caused by their produce ration, I'd say "giving boatloads of delicious produce to England for free."..is pretty special.

Where did you see the word "Exclusive" in the post you just replied to?

Well, seeing as we're the only ones in europe with money, he's justified.
Otherwise, our PM is very persuasive. I've met her; she's like a primary school teacher.

Canned beans are a staple in most people's pantries, I think. American or not. I always keep canned chickpeas so I can roast them as a quick and easy snack.
