*vomits*

please go back to r/books

Éducation Sentimale and Un Coeur Simple are also essential. Salammbo, too, in a different, fantastical way.

is this the one with anal sex in it?

balzac is french goat

mann is shit you know this

who let the redditors out?

i think its hilarious u kids ain't talking about Proust. u wouldnt say this shit to him at a llibrary, hes gay. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. yall are pathetic lol

L'éducation sentimentale, Salammbô, Trois contes and Madame Bovary are the most important. After that you can read Bouvard et Pécuchet and La Tentation de Saint Antoine.

I will always love this one. Replace gay with jacked though (like in the original) for the sidesplitting turnaround at the end of the sentence.

>It's one of the best books you will never read.
FTFY

Nabokov said Mann is shit so he's shit
Dumbass

>Floor bear.

>Salammbo, too, in a different, fantastical way.
What do you mean by that? I have read the rest of his work and loved it, so I was considering picking up Salambó. What would you say makes it different?

Recommended translation, please?
