I don't know why you're citing some outdated folklore alternative medicine as a rebuttal to my modern evidence supported real medicine. Hops have estrogenic properties that not only have been shown to increase serum estrogen but is literally used TODAY as prescription medication to increase estrogen in post-menopausal women because of how effective it is.

Biochemical analyses have identified several phytoestrogens in the congeners of bourbon, beer, and wine. Studies using subjects who produced no estrogen themselves (i.e., rats whose ovaries had been removed and postmenopausal women) demonstrated that phytoestrogens in alcoholic beverage congeners exerted estrogenlike effects in both animals and humans. Those effects were observed even at moderate drinking levels.
This isn't even taking into account the demasculinizing properties of consuming alcohol by itself. You ever wonder what the link between hops and a reduction of cancer is? It's the same link as castration.
