There's only 5 greatest seafood dishes:
>Cioppino (which, while different, is similar to Bouillabaisse and other seafood brothy dishes so I won't just name all of them, but Cioppino is superior)
>Seafood Crepes
>Crawfish Etoufee
>Fresh raw oyster from whichever oyster farm is closest and you can watch them come from the water to your table
>Moules au Pernod (god tier)
for me, it's fishsticks, the greatest seafood meal
Shrimp is top tier but battered cod tongues is topper
Shrimp is the most pleb seafood you can eat
what are you, a gay fish?
Gotta be salted egg yolk prawns. That combination of faint crunch, warmth, tenderness, that popping thing prawns do.
I can't think of anything that's a nicer experience to bite in to.
How do people feel about canned seafood??
>He has never tasted langoustine
Poor guy ...
Smoked rainbow trout
For what I can afford on a regular basis, clams. If I could afford and buy fresh (I live in central Texas, so all "fresh" seafood I'm hesitant on, plus the gulf is pretty disgusting) soft shell crab and scallops. Solid nod to fresh caught fish over farm raised; you can taste the difference.
I miss new England, just not the people.
for me it's the sardine. the most versatile fish.
Most of it is crap.
There is some that's god tier, but alas it has a crazy high price too.
Why is coconut shrimp always served with predominantly sweet sauces?
Should be spicy with just a hint of sweetness.
Every time I crack open a tin of tuna my cat goes insane and won't stop pestering me.
Even if he's outside he'll be at the door or window wanting to come in almost immediately after I open it.
I have no idea how he can hear or smell it but he has like a sixth sense for canned tuna.
How does it compare to Chilean Sea Bass?
I can't eat shrimp, every time I eat it I feel like I am biting into the carpace of a cockroach, with its sickly translucent pale flesh.
Salmon is the GOAT. Raw or grilled or baked, doesn't matter. If we're talking non-fish seafood, octopus or squid is my jam.
Dish? A proper Spanish paella has the best of everything.
Ingredient? I like squid, shrimp and salmon.
not a dish itself but CANDIED SALMON.
Cioppino is godly
You mean Cacciucco, Amerifag
pretty sure its fried crab with scallion and ginger
For me it's a pure glass of seawater.
Man I fucking love all sea food
Why is it so good
FUCK YES. Won't buy any other kind. I always have them with green olives and saltines. One of my top 3 favorite meals.
yes fellow chinese
salmon croquette with tartar sauce because i am white trash
Legit what I'm eating for dinner tonight.
Don't talk to me about fried shrimp until you've eaten it here.
Nothing in the world gives me greater pleasure than sipping off the salty fish-juice from a can of whole tuna-in-water. The fish is dry, the texture like compressed moldy cardboard, but the juice...I live for that juice.
Three years ago I had to live out from under a bridge and that sweet, sweet nectar was literally the only thing keeping me from killing myself. It will raise me out of any depths as long as I live, I swear to god
Catfish, boy. Freshwater fish. Sgood.
>Coconut on anything
Get away from food you fucking loser, I'm sick of you coconut fetishists ruining everything for everyone
Ceviche
I fucking hate coconut so damn much. Les Stroud claims that real coconuts are worlds away from american garbage, so I would try one fresh off a tree, but otherwise keep it the fuck away.
Almond Joy is the culmination if all things disgusting in this world.

Fried calamari > fried shrimp.
