depends on personal taste. I myself would sample some top-tier vodka since it's my favourite strong spirit, but has a serious case of diminishing returns so I only ever buy mid-tier

Not really. As a poker room regular I routinely see so-so dressed /alc/'s hanging around in the slot areas waiting for an alzheimers victim to walk off from their machine so they can cashout what they left. But as they're scoping, they pickup the heeltaps from glasses sitting by the empty machines. They don't look like complete scumbags so they slide.

I knew a guy that was having a rough time, did the slot scoping and made $30-$40 a day. If you don't look like a scumbag or are alternatvely skin toned you can get away with a lot.
