I initially tried Jeni's expecting to be let down, but it really is the best ice cream on the planet. Quality of the base, the density, texture, way it melts is just on another level from everything else, not to mention the novel flavorings that are pretty consistently brilliant rather than just being gimmicks. Unfortunately it's maybe 20% better than Haagen Dazs, but 100% more expensive. Not justifiable to buy any more than very rarely, at least for me. Wish they knew I would buy from them weekly if they just lowered their prices to even like 7-8 bucks a pint. Real shame.
