Going to try to cook pancakes for the first time tonight. I'm pretty drunk and don't have much cooking experience. Is this recipe legit or meme?
>1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
>3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
>1 teaspoon salt
>1 tablespoon white sugar
>1 1/4 cups milk (only have skim milk is that ok?)
>1 egg
>3 tablespoons butter, melted

youll probably want more than a tablespoon of sugar. just add your wet ingredients, then add dry till its slightly less thick than a cake batter. only very slightly. make a small test pancake and see how it forms, if its too flat add in some more flour or extra baking powder. if it tastes like ass add some extra sugar or some cinnamon or honey or some shit. then one more small test one and it should be fine.

So, making a risotto tonite with my garden shit. Peas, carrots, leek and thyme just harvested; garlic and ground pepper from last year. Let's see what happens.

Start off sauteeling the lekks and carrots in olive oil.

Add garlic and hot pepper and saute the rice in the oil for a couple minutes. Then start adding your shmmering broth a ladle at a time and stirring.

Add the peas the laat 5 minutes and the shrimp for the last 3 minutes

And I'll follow Pepin and add parmegiano reggiano, kiss my ass Italians.
