Canadians will defend this
this is the worst fucking board sometimes jesus christ
>LEAF DETECTED
Whatever problem you might think you have with poutine, you definitely picked the most inoffensive picture of it I think I've ever seen here.
Hey buddy, why don't you take that kind of nonsense somewhere else?
t.butthurt leave
>Ruining good fries with all that gravy and cheese garbage
Fucking worse than Americans
If you ate food when it was fresh instead of waiting till you got back to the basement from the drive-thru window maybe you'd understand.
i will motherfucker
I couldn't care less if you hate poutine. Why the fuck do people care so much about fast food products? We may as well rename this board /shill/ or /ffood/
I'm an American and I'll defend it.
Why don't you go back to plebbit? No one wants you here.
looks like a filled ashtray from afar
What the fuck? I love cheese curds now.
Huh, really blanched my russets.
I can't imagine USA citizens wouldn't approve of gravy cheese and fries as well
Don't underestimate our fatness, That shit is amateur hour.
We have 100 different forms of covering fries in delicious shit that nobody actually eats regularly.
Poutine would be ubiquitous if they sold cheese curds outside of leaf jr flyover shitholes.
We already have a version of poutine. Look up disco fries. Uses melted cheese instead of curds though.
>Melted """cheese"""
Do Americans really do this?
Disco fries uses mozzarella, not american cheese.
>tfw like 7 poutine shops just opened up in my city
I'm not even that close to Canada
yeah, it's basically a meme food
you could find it here and there but I don't think poutine was offered in too many places outside of quebec before the last decade or so
Is this place any good? One is about to open across the street from me.
yeah it's pretty good in my opinion
they do normal poutine and a bunch of tramped up poutine that have additional junk thrown in on it. For me I'd stick to the plain, but I'm cheap and think the dolled up ones aren't worth the extra cost. Decent enough though, will probably be a busy place if there are bars nearby
Made homemade poutine the other week
>slice potatoes with mandolin so their perfect size
>salt water bath for almost 24 hours
>drain and pat dry and freeze
>next day
>make prime rib and use some of the drippings to make a thick, creamy gravy
>toss frozen potatoes into deep fryer and let em get super crispy
>toss fries lightly in seasoning salt in bowl
>pour gravy overtop
>shred mozzarella on top
>have prime rib a Yorkshire puddings later for dinner
It was a good day.
>shred mozzarella on top
Sounds delicious but this was not poutine.
You're supposed to fry them twice
