Mustard

Relish

Ketchup

In order of importance.

Mustard
Kraut
Onions

Outside of the poppyseed bun that dog is trash.

Pretty much the perfect dog

We call those "wet boys" where I'm from so I don't even count it as a hotdog

Whatever the kid asks for. I mean it's his birthday party.

Heart disease.

Lol very funny kids don't eat that they eat the pizza and the cake and the ice cream
Lol someone having a hot dog birthday party how ignorant could you be

Mustard
Chili or Relish
Onions
Cheese

Cream cheese
caramelized onions
brown mustard

pic related and nothing else

>cream cheese
Interesting idea.

chili
coleslaw

I've heard that cream cheese with roasted poblano peppers is a pretty good hot dog combo.

Do you cu/ck/s grill or boil your hotdogs? I grew up with boiled but after trying grilled I will never go back.

microwave

Microwave tastes best, that or cooked by flame and eaten off a stick

Flattop cooked with butter.

I no longer own a microwave, it dries food too much.

'waved on half power for a bit to get the inside, then a minute on full to crack it open and really nuke it

doing it wrong

Whatever you want to put on it, baby doll :)

Lots and lots of ketchup, pineapple if available.

Whatever you want.

Sometimes a plane dog with mustard is nice.
Sometimes just ketchup.
Sometimes its with relish, ketchup, and mustard.
Sometimes you want some slaw.
Maybe sometimes a chili dog is nice.

It's up to you.

It's all good.

Pan frying is the way to go. Convenience and added texture all in one.

>Plane
>With mustard
It's not plane if it has a topping retard

That does sound good.

onion mustard ketchup

OR

chili (no beans :)

...

Pork dog with finely diced kimchi OR beef dog with thick chili

Cumin? In chili? What a secret!

But seriously, that's the best topping setup for a dog.

cheese relish and mustard
chili if you're feelin fancy

A hot dog with kimchi sounds fucking good.
And then use those same hot dogs in army base stew. Son....

It's plane, not plane. He meant a dog with a flat top for maximum topping area

It's plain, not "plane".

Retard.

Plain most of the time desu

>Mustard
>Ketschup
>Fried Onions
>Pickles

Mayonnaise.

When I was in elementary school my friend Mike would always say "I'll give you a nickel if you tickle my pickle", he would say this every day every single time it was "I'll give you a nickel if you tickle my pickle"

Everyone made fun of him because he bleached his hair to look like Eminem, and he always wore a puffy bright yellow coat, "Mike, you dressing up like a big bird?" They would always say...

what?

Kimchi on hotdogs is legit.

I'll give you a nickel if you tickle my pickle.

I steam them.

u okay?

i have seen danish hot dogs and icelandic hot dogs

and they look better than american hot dogs

It depends.

If I boiled the damn thing myself - Spicy Brown and maybe onion.

If I'm ordering out, many different ways. Jew York, Cincy you name it.

It goes in the dog's mouth. Cook yourself a brat or natural casing weenie. Hot dogs are nasty.

grill. if not available than pan fry

underrated

Honey mustard, bbq sauce, cheese sauce, grilled onions, chilli.

Mustard, roasted onions, relish

I'm from Chicago so of course the chicago style meme is a thing but it would be good if they only put half tht amount of ingredients on it, so it doesnt turn into a soggy mess.

The essentials are chopped onions, tomatoes, relish, and mustard. Everything else is just extraneous.

Still, a brat with mustard and sauerkraut beats a hotdog 99.9% of the time

Just eat your shit and shut up for one goddamn second

another hotdog

Chili and nacho cheese sauce, onions
Usually though I just put ketchup on it

Do you guys want to know that hundred year old Coney recipe secret. This is not a lie.

Cow heart.

god i hate hotdogs, they taste how fat people smell.

Ketchup

They taste like hot bologna

Hot dog vendor here- my man!

I live in Seattle and went out last night. We have hot dogs that have cream cheese and grilled onions.

I'm not saying it's the best, but it's weird and is great drunk food.

Best thing about Ohio

raw

The best thing about Ohio is leaving Ohio

Mustard and diced onion. Chili is also acceptable.

I was just there last week and I regret not getting this. We were trashed and opted for gyros at 2 different places

Charcoal smoke and grill marks.

this. if a dog has been grilled to perfection, condiments are just going to take away from it.

...

Anyone ever try chili and sauerkraut on a dog? Seems like a good combo. Also I feel like it's been done before somewhere

My personal fav is mustard, relish, onions and sometimes jalapenos for some spice.

I had that at a sausage place before. The chili was dark red almost brown and beanless,

Pretty sure that the half-smoke in DC is just that though.

Hey guys, I don't know shit about cooking but I enjoy this board and I'm trying to learn. Probably about to go boil some hot dogs, what (besides mustard of course) should I put on them?

Chili and cheese is always a good choice. With certain hotdogs I've learned that the point of the toppings is to drown out the flavor of the hot dog. Unless it's a good dog. Then you treat that shit gently

No chili but I have swiss, american and pepperjack I believe

Replace the onions with jalapenos and it's perfect.

>two common ingredients for hotdogs
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you've seen that done before.
Heck, I can hit my closest gas-station and get that if I wanted.

Both. I'm not grilling during the 8 months of winter we have.

Two options

Chile con carne
Diced onion
Dijon mustard

Classic ketchup
Classic yellow mustard
Classic relish

Oh fuck yes

sauerkraut and mustard

Campfire weenies are tops.

Hotdog chili really shouldn't have beans, though. Not like anyone's gonna argue there.

qft
dont forget to cover your hotdog while pan frying for maximum plump

This user here, I did it lads. Kept it simple and pretty happy how it turned out, boiled the pasta with kosher salt, ended up pan frying the dogs

mustard, chili, cheese wiz, onions

>currywurst sauce
>stadium sauce (BBQ base)
>chimichurri
>DILL SHREDDIES
>jardiniere
>olive salad
>jalapeƱo green sauce
>habanero and mango orange sauce
>horseradish and caraway coleslaw
>hot and sweet mustard coleslaw
>pickled sweet peppers rings
>grilled onions and sweet peppers
>seasoned and grilled sauerkraut

A few of the offerings from my food cart business.

...

I only go for a dog dog when topping with Korean condiments

Someone post that picture of a guy eating a hot dog with a fork & knife. I can't remember what thread it was in.

Mustard
or
Chili, shredded cheese, mustard and onion.

No other way than this

seriouseats.com/2009/11/what-is-a-danish-hot-dog-denmark-europe.html

Try pouring some of your favorite beer into a thin layer in the pan and then pan cook the dog on moderate heat until it browns up a little and the beer evaporates.
To me this is a more flavorful alternative to boiling, you can see if you like it or not.

you know what you did bret. yes you do. yes you do. you made me hungry. now i gotta eat something.

youtube.com/watch?v=c_l3E1foQ3Q

Oh yeah, and if it must the ultimate version of this, you also need red cabbage. Not normal red cabbage, but red cabbage that has had the sauerkraut treatment, so that it's soft

Amen hermano

damn right

how is the wiener industry going for you?

Mayo on the bun. Maybe some relish, and nothing else.
