I've been on Veeky Forums for two years, I swear over the last year it's turned to shit. I actually used to learn useful cooking advice from this board, but I don't think I've learnt anything useful here in over a year now. I'm starting to see the same rehashed threads over and over and for some reason this board is being raided by vegans with about 5 vegan-related threads at any one time. It's at the point where maybe one in ten threads is even worth opening, and on a slow board like Veeky Forums that means that you can't really spend more than an hour here every few days.

Yeah, you're right, but there are two vegetarian threads in the catalogue. I haven't been to Veeky Forums in a few weeks because it's getting shit, but there used to be at least two vegan food threads and multiple threads on the morality of veganism at any one time. Thank god it's stopped.

Veeky Forums is good but losing a lot of its old users and memes.

Literally the only thing I hate about it are the vegan posters who act like niggers and take everything personally. If you so much as post "Vegans are cool but I do not enjoy the idea of being Vegan" you'll get an angry malnourished faggot posting a copypasta's worth of text to make himself feel better.

Veeky Forums has become the worst board that I visit. The community is comparatively small, but contains a proportionately high amount of shit/memeposters. Even if I stop coming here for a month or two and I come back, I can immediately tell what memes sprouted up in the time I was gone because they will be infecting every thread.

mcchicken and jack threads are...i don't want to say that they're killing this board, but they make it so much less appealing. a "fast food general" sticky or regular thread would vastly improve this board.

the best threads are the actual OC ones — the anons who take the time to cook and bake stuff and show their process. sometimes it turns out well, some times it doesn't. but they learn from it, because the nice thing about this board is that there are people who actually give constructive criticism. i started baking bread a few weeks ago, and the tips i've gotten here have been supportive and informative.

plus, occasionally we're blessed with things like sleepytime chicken threads.

I don't have any complaints really. Veeky Forums has high quality memes and there's still decent cooking threads. The only thing that can ruin threads is that you guys fall for trolling entirely too easily, as bad as facebook/youtube commenters. Sometimes people post the most obvious bait (e.g. do americans really eat this?) and some of you guys just get entirely too flustered and buttangry about it.

Though oftentimes that stuff makes me laugh quite often, and jack memes just fucking kill me. All and all this is still one of the best boards.
