Describe your favorite burger? Some people like veggies, some don't, some like cheese, some don't, some like bacon, some don't, some like ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc some don't and all in different combinations
So, ITT describe your ideal burger, from how it's cooked to the toppings to the condiments
For me it'd be toasted bun, two patties not too thick with chopped onions mushrooms bacon lettuce mustard maybe cheese? it would have to be cheddar or maybe pepperjack. I hate american

Not op but, I would of never thought of this. thank you. i think i would enjoy this
Toasted potato roll Two thinish patties about 2-3oz each cooked medium Two slices of American cheese Grilled slice of Vidalia onion Two fried jalapenos - seeded and split open Lettuce and tomato Mustard and thousand island
Matthew Morales
Thick round hand formed patty with lots of seasoning - eggs, bread crumbs, spices, etc. so it becomes flavourful and juicy. None of this "just meat and salt + pepper hurr durr I'm a man bullshit". Put in a hot cast iron so it gets a nice full crust.
As for toppings, nothing has beaten a jam/jelly on the bottom with a nice runny strong cheese on the top. Salad on the side, not in my burger.
Robert Parker
disgusting meatloaf burger
>jam/jelly
I lol'd

For starters, I want at least 400 grams of beef in the burger. Maybe even more if it can fit without ruining the proportions.
After that, a single slice of American cheese. Fried onions, some light sauerkraut, maybe some fried mushrooms, and then put it all between two soft freshly baked buns. A nice dill pickle and some potato chips on the side.
Wash it down with a 40 oz steel reserve and finish it off with a Camel Regular.
Nothing better my friends.
Nothing.

This is pretty much the ideal burger for me, though I live in Slavland so we don't have as much choice as Americans. It's got everything I need: two patties, bacon, fresh onion, soft buns, cheese and veggies. It's a great all-rounder, you could say.
>Two 1/4lb patties >Pepperjack >Thousand island with horse radish Its so fucking good its not even fair
Kevin Barnes
>Single beef patty- salt, pepper, garlic, worcestershire sauce while cooking. >Grill over flame(usually charcoal, doesn't have to be...) >Top with sharp cheddar or pepper jack cheese >Lettuce, tomato, onion, dill pickle slices >Ketchup, mustard, mayo

>Toasted potato bun >1/3 pound patty, pressed about 1/2 inch thick, crispy on the outside with some pink inside, liberally seasoned with salt and pepper >Homemade mayo with added garlic or (actual) aioli on both buns >Ripe heirloom tomato >Quite a lot of thinly sliced of sweet onion >Ripe avocado >A bit of quality sharp cheese wouldn't hurt but isn't ultimately necessary, the avocado combined with the beef dripping and garlic provides plenty of unctuousness and creaminess already >Greens also optional, largely disposable in most cases
Or something like that. Probably one of the best burgers I ever had was one my brother in law made. Just a quality, well-seasoned, somewhat thick patty with nothing else but avocado on a ciabatta bun. Not generally too big on ciabatta for sandwiches but for whatever reason everything just worked, it was far greater than the sum of its parts.

A good bun is important, I like something soft but firm, crusty buns always seem to be a bitch to bite through without shoving toppings out the ass of the burger.
>buttered and grilled/toasted bun >quality medium rare patty cooked over the grill, thumb-thickness or so not some hockey puck sized monstrosity >crispy fried onions >slab of fresh red onion >any good crisp lettuce >either a sharp cheddar or something like jarlsberg/havarti/pepperjack >mayo or tartar >meme tier frenches yellow mustard or a proper stone ground mustard >crispy bacon >sometimes grilled mushrooms
Nolan Torres
this one sounds good.
most of you are putting wayy too much shit on your burgers.
