Probably either a mexican torta or a panini I made at home

There was this knockoff Subway at my college that made this Italian sub with this red pepper mayo sauce that was the tits. Don't know why I've never made it myself, come to think of it.

Homemade sandwich using leftover Thanksgiving entrees. It turned out better than I was expecting.

For me, the McChicken is the best sandwich.

I had a really good italian meats sandwich at a restaurant where I was on vacation. it had some kind of olive salad as the compliment to the meat and the sandwich wasn't a muffaletta.

...

This: Might not work. Not sure how to post pictures.

How do you post pictures or links here?

Pastrami on rye at Shapiro's deli.

Choose File

Chicken and bacon, with a slice of brie as long as the baguette it was sandwiched in. Tasted delicious even without sauce, and I now buy it as soon as I see it's available.

if you cant figure out something that simple don't post.

The Muckleshoot Casino in Washington state used to have a prime rib sandwich that was amazing. Rare prime rib, a high quality roll of some sort, pepperjack cheese, and jus. It was pure bliss.

Sadly, they decided to redo their menu and went with all shitty deep-fried stuff and burgers.

do burritos count as sandwiches?

nope.

what about quesadilla or flatbread things?

>he doesnt have a moistmaker in the middle.

Pleb

is this the infamous cuban sandwich?

yes. The cuban sandwich is a top-tier sandwich.

Reuben at a small diner in my hometown. Haven't found a reuben as good as that in 5 years. God I loved that sandwich.

HEHEH GUISE! CHECK OUT THIS DANK MEME I GOT.

>What's the best sandwich you've ever had?

A place called The Tummy Stuffer (long gone) like FORTY years ago. Un-be-fucking-lievable bread, turkey, tomatoes, onions. Plain and simple and really great. This place was incredible. And they hired incredibly cute young women to staff it. It was fucking Heaven.

Top five sandwiches in no order.
Reuben
Cuban
Cheeseburger
Sloppy Joe
Club.
My opinion as of now, but I could rotate Club or Sloppy Joe out for an Italian sub or cheese steak or fried shrimp po'boy depending on mood and location.

ayyy that's what I made for the monthly challenge

exquisite

A truly excellent selection. I'd swap the Joe for Italian sub, but other than that you've got my list.

These shouldn't be as good as they are, I used to stuff them with tater tots and put hot sauce on them.
I gained like 50 pounds eating them daily at my college caferia.

I'm partial to comfiness and nostalgia influencing my list which is why The Joe is on atm. Mom's Manwich with oven tots and canned corn is a strong happy good memory for me.

Based cubans, I'm choosing this as my #1 favorite

Monte cristo comes in a close second though

I'm a big fan of Cubans. I could retire in Ybor city and be happy. Good beer, cigars, coffee and sandwiches. It's all I need.

For me, it's

Weak. Do you at least add pickles and dip in buffalo?

oh god

just look at that whore she wants it

KEK dude holy shit. I have never seen someone so willfully ignorant of this site. It's almost endearing.

Pastrami sandwitches are my favourite but i alway get them because i lnow i like so i dont know about other think of making a classic po boy soon

For me it's the McChicken

Just a plain old ham, mayo, and swiss sandwich please.

Some people are strict on their sandwich requirements but I'm a bit more open. In no particular order

>hot brown
>cuban
>reuben
>lobster roll
>thanksgiving leftover sandwich
>philly cheese steak
>blt

best ones imo

A mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomatoes are ripe. They're so perky. I love that.

>add pickles

A cheese steak from a local Filipino shop. They have the usual Filipino crap on the menu, but they also have this gem.

>no mention of thundercloud

the ones my grandma used to make me.

I understood that reference

Texas gtfo

Austin isn't really Texas. We agree that they should gtfo.

Some turkey torta in Mexico City

Some memorable sandwiches I have enjoyed...
Prosperity from the Lemp Mansion (similar to a hot brown)
Cuban from some hole in the wall in Miami.
Jerked chicken stuffed bread sandwich like device from a gas station in Jamaica. Locals were standing in line to buy them, so I got in line. It was fucking awesome.
My aunt's Reuben, which have lasted making as well.

Finally, no bully pls... a cold cut combo from subway, specifically the one I had as my first real food after spending six months wasting away in bed when a relapse of mono nearly killed me. I only ate a few bites, but after so long with nothing but broth and hot cereals, it was magnificent.

I come here for this.

nuke austin and californians

How'd you get mono?

Shit tonne of cheddar, brie, fresh honey baked ham straight out of the oven, bacon wrapped turkey & bacon all squash toasted on a vietnamese roll

Is shawarma a sandwich?

Stahp it you're making me salivate

Making out with someone at a YMCA leaders group lock in.

McDonald's corporate here. It's extremely disappointing that this was the 4th, and not 1st reply. 25% will be removed from your shill check.

lel, you could drop the url in the photo file path field

I just grabbed a random picture off of Google.
What's a moistmaker?

For me it is the BLT.

fried bologna with mustard

Italian from Royal Grinders, Seattle.

Where's the T?

No love for French Drip?

French dip* dammit

>that disgusting nail

Oh my God, can you even be more R*ddit, you literal cucks?

Piss off and never post here again.

>Let me just get the bread nice and soggy...mmm, that's a soggy sandwich!

Gross.

Looks like a fat bitch's cunt.

Fuck, op I thought that pic was the broodwich

Pork slow cooked for 10 hours , roasted chipotle salsa, 3 types of cheese, refried beans, and fresh tomato and avocado.

The small one goes for around $4 US dollars.

It's a shame when you have such nice ingredients and you decided to construct it into a fucking mess to eat.

A sandwich shouldn't be that difficult or messy to eat. It really takes the enjoyment out of it.

That's not a sandwich,that's a fucking sad looking thing.

I understand what you mean, but to me it doesn't make a big difference really. I eat every most foods with a fork and knife, including burgers, pizza, etc.

I realy dislike eating with my hands.

A meme, long before your time. From a 90s sitcom called Friends

youtu.be/vjZXcapkFEU

I would say that's the gayest shit I ever heard but I once met someone who couldn't eat meat with bones in it, this included things like chicken drumsticks or wings etc

You may as well not be eating a sandwich man.

oh goddamn that looks good

You dip and then eat. You don't have hold it right over the sauce bowl to give it time to cool down.

A lot of people do like it soggy though, and personally I don't mind it that way.

You should be using a really crisp bread for a french dip anyways. so like a baguette at the end of the day when its getting hard. Dipwiches are pretty cool, but I find the biggest issue is keeping the sandwich together after taking a couple of bites in it.

The Spicy Daggett

I work at jimmy johns and kinda drunk, ask questions if you want
I had a free roast beef and tuna from work today, shit was p good

Are you guys obligated to skimp on the meat and cheese and fucking obliterate the sandwiches with lettuce and tomato, or is it just sort of expected of you

Back then Fazoli's use to make four cheese tomato paninis which i still think were the most amazing ever

Philipe's in LA! The BEST French dip EVER!!!

philippes.com/

Step 1: do not ever post image links
Step 2: read the FAQ and lurk moar

Ever have a wafflewich? Really good.

o shit i member. cheap too. mmm

I think they do

its standardized that we put ~40 grams of cheese and each meat serving is between 60 and 72 grams. my shop has decent proportions

>Sandwich of condiments

k

the GOAT

Roast pork sandwiches from Philly, especially DiNic's, are no joke.

>condiments
I don't think you know what that word means

My favorite sandwiches are Italian subs and grilled cheeses. I make my own subs at home with genoa salami, mortadella, pepperoni, and hot capicola. for grilled cheeses I use gruyere
