Slap Chop
bacon
...
>overpriced memery that is objectively worse than average
Ceramic knives
nonstick cookware
average headphones cost like $7 a pair and sound worse, also ceramic knifes start out sharp
Cast Iron
Mac and cheese
truffle oil
Tapatio hot sauce, or ranch dressing.
Most of the posts in this thread don't get the point.
You're looking for a cooking item that's overpriced and people only buy it to look fashionable. This is the only good answer in this thread so far: Personally my answer would be copper pans.
I think you're missing the point. Most people know those headphones are hot garbage, hence most posts being garbage.
Truffle Oil is a guy or girl who is still delusional. , a person who thinks it will all turn out okay and it was worth the investment. Everyone else already knows....you're retarded.
>reddit-tier post
Fuck off.
Edible gold leaf
kitchenaids
Five Guys
I think you get my vote. I was trying to think of a better answer than truffle oil, cause I got memed with it. Gold leaf is a waste of money, and that's the point.
McDonald's/Burger King.
100% sous vide machines. It's not rocket science to maintain constant water temperature and people who pay $200-$300 for those dumb gadgets are fucking retards. Sous vide itself is inefficient and doesn't do anything special besides act as a crutch for those that can't actually cook
KSC-75 cost $15 and sound 1000x better than Beats. Then again, they sound better than most $300+ headphones.
>they sound better than most $300+ headphones.
Don't exaggerate.
There are $200 headphones now that compete with $1000 headphones, the market's a fair bit more competitive lately.
but if you buy beats you get something you can actually use. I hate defending beats, but theyre better than skullcandy or the earbuds that come with a new cellphone. gold leaf doesnt do anything beyond appearance.
What about these?
mcchicken
Not exaggerating. I said most. I know there's some good ones out there but the majority of headphones in any price bracket are still shit. Headphones are really hard to get right because of ear resonances and most attempts get them horribly wrong IMO.
