What's your favourite part of Christmas dinner?

What's your favourite part of Christmas dinner?

pumpkin pie

Eating this alone in my basement flat whilst sipping a cheap bottle of whiskey

Family and friends.

...

I see you are a man of culture as well.

I checked around online and I honestly can't tell if that was actually a novelty product that was sold in moderate quantities or a viral marketing campaign where they only made a few of them.

Aww :) I bet they all like getting to spend time with you too, user.

getting away from boring, judgemental family members and making my own goddamn dinner.

The collective gasp from guests when they eat my food. Yeah, that's right, wring out your pantaloons ladies. Fucker can cook.

When it puts my mom to sleep so I don't have to listen to her complain about her life.

We have a bunch of hors d'oeuvres instead of a big meal. We usually get tamales, a bunch of cool deserts based on family recipes, and some other dips and spreads. It's fun.

Stuffed mushrooms.

Trips confirm.

That sucks :( Maybe next Christmas you'll get to spend it with your favourite people instead :)

Sounds delicious. My family is really small so we don't really do anything elaborate like that.

Always a favourite!

Gotta be the honey glazed ham.
Objectively the best dessert. What other pie could possibly compete?

Also, the best drank for Christmas dinner is rum punch.

...

>honey glazed ham
I'm a turkey man myself but you can't go wrong with salty pork.
>rum punch
Punch is an after-dinner drink >:(

It's the True Meaning of Christmas :D

Pigs in blankets about 20 of them

When I can leave and go back home and relax by myself in peace

Disappointing everyone at once.

getting blackout drunk and making an absolute ass out of myself
I'm going to keep doing it until they stop inviting me

That one year when my mom said fuck turkey and from then on we had steak and crab for Christmas every year.

Sneaking into your sister's room that night and fucking like rabbits.

The handle of Ketel One.

roast parsnip
whole family drinking a toast with gravy filled yorkshire puddings
the chablis grand cru my old man gets in every year

That pic is comfy as shit, I just wanna sit there and browse ck all night

When it's over. Knowing I have 364 more days untill I have to see my family again.

Every great tradition starts the same way

One of my favourite guilty pleasures, especially with some cheese baked inside

Don't sit up all night or Santa won't come >:(

You don't have to see your family at Christmas user, you can spend it with your friends too :)

Bury it in a snowbank to keep it cold! :D

Turkey isn't my first choice but it's respectable, especially when cooked well. I just love having ham biscuits the next morning for breakfast.

Our dinner is always pretty small, usually just my parents and me. My mom and I always break down and debone a turkey and just have a few pieces at the meal.

I want to have Christmas dinner at your house now
