Why does anybody anywhere go to McDonalds anymnore?

any current of former McD's workers care to explain to the rest of the world why *nobody* should ever eat at McD's? I'll start.

>> be me. 8 years experience at a bay area franchise McDs
>> I always try my best, but half the other managers there are shortsighted selfish immigrants who hardly speak English and don't really care about doing anything the right way
>> eggs and meat always overcooked because that's just what the short mexican grandma prefers
>> Cleaners and soaps always get into the friers
>> 99% of bad hispanic type cooks will pre-cook 500% more meat than you're supposed to just out of fear of running out. This leads to cabinets chock full of meat that gets old and chicken that is held in cabinets that aren't even the right temperature.
>> incompetent managers with poor English skills accusing 16 year old white kids of being lazy, unfairly blaming them for problems that's not the kids's fault. Ruining these kids' lives by making them think and feel that they are useless and worthless.
>> hispanic workers like to monopolize the same jobs for themselves to avoid having to do anything different. This leads to day to day stagnantation as nobody rotates positions and everybody does the same things. Hispanic workers tend to get slow and sloppy doing their non-customer service jobs like cooking, while the inexperienced white kids have to fumble to keep the front of the restaurant running, untrained uncoached and without a competent leader to tell them how to do their jobs.

Long story short: after working there for 9 or so years, I wouldn't trust anything at McD's, not even the bottled water. Why do you, or anyone for that matter, even eat there anymore?? Why does this brand still exist???

I work at In n Out now, and it's refreshing to know that all the veggies are sliced here every day from scratch, including the potatoes. The burgers here taste good because people get yelled at for being sloppy with quality. At McD's, everyone's just trying to survive.

>including the potatoes
And lo and behold, In-N-Out has shitty fries.

The fries are actually good now that they switched from shitty cottonseed oil to sunflower seed oil. You should try them. The change happened recently.

In'n'out has the worst fries and the franchise+all their shills agitate me to no end. Habit is better, and I wouldn't be caught dead with their food.
>t. San Bruno resident

Never had in n out, but at the place I work at we cut them every day, we just have a rotation of ones that are blanched/going to be blanched in the fridge

i work in the kitchen, our store doesnt get super busy and i work the weekday shifts with a few other people while all the

>implying it's the oil and not the single cooking temperature

>bay area franchise

You must have some crazy customer stories.

>Working at a McDonalds in the bay area.
How do you afford living there?

Habit always has hard non tender beef from my experience. Don't get me wrong- everything there is delicious as fuck. It just that the meat, by itself, is like shitty mom and pop diner quality- and not the good kind of mom and pop diner.

I make tons more money as a JANITOR at in n out than the GMs who have to run a whole McDonalds at a time. That and my GF has a nice job too. That's how we make ends meet.

If I had stayed at McD's, I'd be dead or jacking it in san diego by now.

Because i used to work at a McDonald's that was run whites and the owner was black and hated mexicans also the McDonald's where i live now are owned by whites

White own and run mcdonald's? The food there must taste amazing.

Everytime one of these threads pop up, I guess I just worked at a good McDonald's. Was my first job in high school and worked there for two years of college too. Have the workers were stoned idiots but the other half showed up, clocked in, then left. Of course the store always had "that one guy" who was weird/creepy but it was never more than one at a time.

Now, I don't mind McDonald's even though I know everything is dehydrated and frozen. I guess it's how you associate the place.

>i worked fast food for 10 years instead of getting a real job
fast food is summer-job tier for high schoolers and maybe college students

this is sad beyond belief

Idk, Chick Fil A starts their trainers at $13 an hour now. Better wage than some of the office cucks in my area.

That said, you have to pass some sort of loony test before getting hired that basically screens you to see if you are the "right fit" (i.e., christian) for the company.

Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well! I just got back from mcdonalds, or Mac and Don's Supper Club, if you will. I Ordered 4 Mcdoubles and four McChickens. I will eat them after I finish my 24 pack of Busch Light. You all have a great night.

I think in general the service/quality for fast food is largely dependent on the location. What I mean is:

>live in more rural area of Ontario
>occasionally go to a McDonald's or Tim Horton's for fast food but we have Wendy's, Dairy Queen, KFC, etc.
>service is generally very good, employees are friendly and food is good (as far as fast food goes)
>there's the rare screw up but it's usually something like ordering an Iced Cap and getting a French vanilla cappuccino which takes like five seconds to swap
>pretty much every employee is some 16-20something year old white kid; occasional Pajeet sprinkled in but not too common

>on the road in larger areas like close to Toronto
>about 10% something is screwed up
>onion rings often turn into fries or no mayo turns into half a jar
>often slightly overcooked
>half the time the employees can't be understood because they're usually straight outta Kolkata

If the McChicken is the best fast food sandwich and the Filet-o-fish us the second best, then are McDoubles third best or does some other sandwich have the honors?

MFW I realize I have not eaten any McCrap for over twenty-five years.

The two nearest mcdonalds to me are the two highest grossing stores in the state. They are staffed by nearly all white people, owned by one white guy, have been completely renovated as of last year and service and food is always perfect. Go figure

>Cleaners and soaps always get into the friers

the funny thing is this isn't that big of a deal due to the high temperature of the fryer along with the contents (fats/long carbon chains)

> im a janitor
> my girlfriend has a nice job too

What's she a prostitute?

I was a manager at McDonald's and everyone liked me because I didn't give a shit about anything. I gave people free food all the time and didn't do anything when employees threw shit at each other and fucked around. I made 10$ an hour why would I care? it was in a small town so on overnights I worked with 2 weed dealers and we would just sit in a car smoking weed and get like 4 customers all night.
I had some good times but it's not possible to have retarded teenagers and 50 year old failures to do anything right. maybe 30% of the employees were fully functioning humans and the rest were fucking idiots.

>dedicating this much of your adult life to a career in burger flipping
You fucked up. Badly
