I made a cheese souffle. It was a little underdone, but very delicious. Surprisingly easier than I thought for my first time.

Made a tuna steak, steamed green beans, and a side salad with homemade vinaigrette. I marinated the tuna in soy sauce, lemon juice, and garlic. Garlic stuck to outside of fish and got burned. Soy sauce made tuna too salty. I still think it's pretty good for my first time, but I'll definitely change it up a little next time I try tuna steaks.

Made a sloppy pork cutlet and frozen fries. Cutlet tasted pretty ok. Anything I can do to up the flavor? I think it was in the oil too long.
Hmm, what did you season it with? Did you bread it yourself? It does look maybe a bit overdone, but I haven't tried to make something like that myself before. For pork, I like to go with an acid to cut some of the greasiness and either something spicy or sweet, perhaps both. My mom used to make pork chops with an apricot and thyme sauce that was pretty good.

I made way to much fucking fried chicken, first time making it. Is pretty good but to much work for something that's better at Popeye's. Maybe I'll try again and try to make it better.

I have some ahi tuna I want to use for sushi. For some absent-minded reason, I left it in the fridge for a couple of days. It's completely sealed in its package though. Will it still be good if I freeze it up or use it now?
For the chickpea and pinto bean masala, here's what I did:
I sautéed onions, ginger, and garlic. Then I added some chickpeas and pinto beans which I had left soaking since last night. I poured in water, and added cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika, chili powder, black pepper, and bay leaves. I left it cooking for about an hour, and then I thickened it with a roux (made with flour and butter).
For the pita bread, I used a basic recipe I found somewhere.
I know it's not authentic Indian food, and it wasn't meant to be authentic at all.

It's an eggmix with garlic, oregano, salt. Hotdog buns soaking it up and fried, then fried again with the cheese and ham.

Made fried chicken livers last night. No pics, it wasn't bad for my first attempt. They were kind of creamy, though, and the outside was already a hair past gbd, so I didn't want to cook them any more.
