No. But here's a recipe to try regardless: Bruschetta. Just don't do faggy presentation like this with such small slices of baguette and the balsamic reduction all over the plate. Simple bruschetta plus lemonade or sangria on your back porch in the shade = maximum summertime comf.

It's served cool, and you don't need an oven. A toaster is enough to get the bread nice and crisp. The tomato, mozzarella, and basil topping is raw. The balsamic glaze only requires a brief reduction in a pan, and then is chilled before being drizzled over the dish.

it depends on the building, older cities (other than places that were firebombed into oblivion during a war) tend to have older housing stock, so, obviously, they're less likely to have HVAC built into the design of the building. some buildings are retrofitted particularly converted buildings in former industrial districts with higher ceilings and more space to work with. but places that were built for people to live in 100+ years ago would generally not. in the USA, the northeast was built up first so of course, the odds of any given person living in a 100+ year old building are much higher than in LA or Houston
of course there are plenty of newer buildings in northeast cities too. those places would have central air.
