Fuckin' a, I don't really drink much coffee, but I sure as fuck seem to always have it at some of my best moments. Don't really have many food related moments. I'll have to change that.

Nah. I love camping, I love traveling, and I love sports. Seems to make sense that my most vivid food memories would be linked with those activities. Either way, I have no interest in derailing the thread. This might actually have some potential.

just gave a end of semester presentation after sleeping a couple hours a night for a week
was having a strangely lucid moment
left the auditorium right after i was done, barely cleaned up my presentation material, and fucked off into the rain
walked a mile to a poutine shop and got a large order or poutine stacked with what i coule only remember as savory meats
carried it back to the auditorium, sat in the back, ate my fucking poutine while deliriously smiling at my colleagues presentation.

Literally anything over a campfire for me. Or having the scent of the fire in the air as you eat/drink whatever. I'm such a fucking whore for that smokey smell and outdoorsy taste. Even foods or meats I generally HATE, like seafood or organs, I'll suck down like a priest's cock on Sunday mass.

Can't beat the campfire smell and the fact that you're outside in the fresh air eating. Something about it you just can't beat.

Country fried steak. I haven't had it since maybe 2006, and only twice in my whole life, but god damn that's some good shit.

Also recently I went to one of the top 50 Chinese food joints in the entire country. And they weren't lying, the dish I ordered was a 3 out of 9 as far as spiciness goes and I could still barely finish it, it was so rich and flavorful, NOT like panda express shit at all.

Every morning I have the best moment of my day. I love breakfast. I sit outside with my coffee and some toast and just breathe in everything.

my favorite steakhouse as a kid, my parents took me there for my birthday every year. The first time I brought my girlfriend when I was 18 was the greatest meal of my life just from showing her something that was so special to me

skip the roasting and bite into that sucker. That's always the best flavor. Still squirming and makes you feel primal
