Ah, its such a relief to meet a fell fan of the 'chove. Also, you might consider baking the crust for 5 minutes or so and then applying the toppings. Pizza at home is difficult because most of our ovens aren't up to the task.

Visually unappealing, uneven distribution of ingredients, crust not uniformly golden brown, ingredients not chopped to uniform/semi-uniform size to consistently cook them.
When I make homemade (bread anything really) base it comes out like shit. Dense, doesn't taste anything like any other I've ever eaten. Just horrible, no matter what recipe I follow. Pretty much the same for the sauce too to be honest.
Is that beef?
