Sriracha but I still like it.
>LITERALLY
I like Frank's for the taste. Put it on eggs, mac & cheese and burgers.
>I like my hot sauce
>For the taste
Literally just put fucking vinegar on it then retard, if you aren't eating a sauce for it's spice, then don't fucking eat it at all
>being this mad about someone liking a certain hot sauce
Who did it better, Frank or Thomas?
>STOP EATING FOOD WRONG
this shit makes rooster memesauce seem hot
This is a lot less hot than i expected
if you don't use hot sauce for the taste and only want the heat, why not just put pure capsaicin on your food?
...
I bought this, tasted one drop and threw it out.
>water, salt, red pepper
That is all I could taste and zero heat at all.
I am a tabasco man and always will be for my semi-hot vinegary hot sauce.
But it's tasty and the right hot sauce for fried chicken, collards, bbq, and hush puppies.
Isn't this meant to be the glaze on a wing though, not the dipping sauce? I'd give it a pass if its used like that with the expectation that a hotter sauce will be added by whoever is eating the wing.
I keep a bottle in my desk for the breakfast burritos from the office cafe. I think it's definitely the most standard hot sauce
what if you want spicy vinegar, which has been the most popular type of hot sauce for the past 50 years or so?
...
then kys
But it tastes good.
Yeah, hot sauces like that aren't really meant for heat but rather flavor.
Frank's would be more aptly named a "Chili Sauce" but they've been around too long to really change that at this point.
get over it
>implying it isn't literally true that the sauce in op has literally zero heat
quite literally, in fact
that sauce is causing heat death of the universe
Doesn't change the fact that it's a nonstandard usage. And it only became so ubiquitous here because people started saying it ironically.
Sriracha is a decently spicy sauce for somebody with zero tolerance for heat.
I know this isn't a sauce, but on the other hand fuck you
This. Also regular tabasco tastes like shit. Haven't tried this variant though.
Huge brands like that can't afford to alienate the baby boomer demographic by making a product that is even slightly spicy
Agreed, cholula was such a disappointment flavor and heat wise.
I don't really get when people want the spiciest wings (or whatever) possible. I don't mind some, Sriracha is fine, but once you start tearing up and it numbs your mouth whats the point? Even people who say they love it as spicy as possible are weeping by the end.
Best hot sauce coming through
You were so close
As far as I can tell there's two versions, the one you get at world market is only saying insane++ but there's versions that say insane+++
The world market version isn't super hot but it is really tasty.
Who here has Tabasco scorpion on pre-order?
I'm white and Sriracha literally is as spicy tasting as ketchup
what the fuck are you gonna do about it you gay whiny little bitch boy?
You'll cowards don't even Xtra Hot
You mean
>Literally get over it
I always save on this by dumping a whole bag of ground cayenne pepper in a 2 liter of vinegar. Best if there's still cola residue. Sawsebawse
Used this for making wings instead of the regular buffalo. Took 3 days to eat a dozen or so wings. Shit hurt to eat it was so hot.
>literally
>4 syllables instead of 3
Git gud
Fuck you it's good on burritos
This is my favourite. It's not hot at all but I love its taste.
What are some dishes that go well with hot sauce? I have a bottle of Crystal that I need to use up but everything I have been making recently doesnt really pair well with it.
I love the most insanely hot sauces you can buy, but I still love them for the flavour too.
You know it's possible to like hot sauce for the taste of it... right?
You don't just have to buy hot sauce for the heat.
That crap sucks. Its the reds Apple ale of spices
Do Americans really think that all hot sauces taste like nothing but vinegar?
Spaghetti bolognese.
Chilli.
Tomato based curries.
Basically most tomato based foods.
Me personally, I put it on almost fucking everything.
Everything
t. Korean
I'd say it varies a lot depending on the type of sauce you have. As for Crystal, I think that would be good on:
Eggs, breakfast hashes/fry-ups, breakfast tacos
Anything Cajun: Etouffe, gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, dirty rice, etc.
Not ideal but certainly passable on wings
You can also use it to add some heat to other sauces: mix with ketchup to make a dipping sauce for seafood. mix with BBQ sauce for a little more spice, etc.
You are fucking retarded.
>is nut hot
>havent tried it tho :^)
my god, 90s people looked like complete faggots
I have blocked that time period for a reason
merriam webster can shove their "living language" bullshit up their ass
you dont get to change definitions just to sell new dictionaries you faggot cunts.
this, goddamnit
They had to change it because dumbass Americans couldn't be bothered to learn their own language. This is how they rationalize it.
>people shitting on Sriracha
Sriracha's not really hot but at least it actually has a fucking taste and pleasant consistency to it, and isn't just vinegar that scores extra high on the scoville scale.
How can you not like the 90's?
>a time before social media, SJW's, the alt right and autists in general
Everybody just got along and had a good time.
If I ever saw you in real life I would gun you down In the street with my CC S&W P226 I'm am not fucking kidding you maggot.
El yucateco Mayan recipe
I wish it was hotter
>americans
Your mama pussy juice
not hot
Look out everyone, someone here handles heat very well
i really like this stuff
Well crafted.
Language is fluid.
...
How is this range?
I had this stuff and it wasn't very spicy.
try it and see
is that this very very very soft tofu marinated in hot sauce?
Sambal Oelek
No. It's fermented soybeans and chili peppers. The photo on the jar is that of a finished dish, mapo tofu, which uses this as one of its key ingredients.
Name of the ingredient is doubanjiang, sometimes romanized as tobanjiang.
does it taste only like chili peppers or are there more flavors to it?
this brand is epic good
Lies
Tastes fine but not really spjcy.
Doubanjiang is fermented Fava bean paste, the fermented soybean is douchi, which has more of an earthy, kind of a coffee taste to it.
It tastes very little like chili peppers. It's more of a funky fermented taste, though it does have some heat. It's nothing at all like what comes to mind when you hear "hot sauce".
Do you like Szechuan chinese food? This stuff is one of the key ingredients in many if not most Szechuan dishes.
So I was looking for hot sauces on Amazon...

Crystal is good for Gulf/Southern cuisine. It's a good way to measure the authenticity of a restaurant who claims to sell such food.
If I find myself eating Mexican food and they don't have pic related, (along with help yourself limes) I feel there is a lack of authenticity.
Just bought Tapatio because they only had Chipotle Cholula. What am I in for?
>Also regular tabasco tastes like shit.
Not really, it's good when something needs an acidic component. The flavor of the fermented peppers is pretty good in Tabasco sauce, it just doesn't go with every food.
Yeah, I don't know why capsaicin tolerance is seen as cool. People enjoy the Scoville range from bottom to top.
Significantly better for flavor and heat
This shit is so fucking sour i cant taste the heat
Because normies can't handle it so beta chili heads looking to upgrade status use it as a leverage point.
Source: love hot sauce and chase the heat daily.
It's has a good balance of vinegar and spice.
I'd have an easier time finding dishes that don't go well with hot sauce.
Only the left one has any real heat but it tastes of nothing, medium has a better balance of flavour/heat but that's not saying much
>with my CC S&W P226 I'm am
Guess how I know you're a noguns cuck.
They went to hell after Katrina wiped the plant out.
holy fuck i could not agree more, I can't believe I fell for this shit
I bought some of this, I thought it was ok. Tasted a little artificial though. I think i'm just a fan of mexican hot sauces
>I think i'm just a fan of mexican hot sauces
I picked up a bottle of this today and I really enjoyed it.
What hotsauce bottle can I chug without getting heartburn?
