Thinking 'bout making a personal chip tier-list because chips are my only vice food, and I've got strong opinions about them. That, and maybe charcuterie, too.

I don't into chips very much. My sister, on the other hand... her pantry is like a shrine to the chip gods. Was on family vacation a few months and she was raving about pic related. They're pretty fucking good.

These taste really good and aren't as oily as regular chips. Stuff that fatty makes me feel ill like crazy after eating them.

Store brand chips for me. Ruffled are the best, usually just get a jalapeno or dill pickle flavor. Spending double the price for you're favorite brand name salty greasy potato/corn snack is just plain dumb.

Cape Cod chips are god tier to begin with. Waffle cut takes them to a whole new level

What are you talking about? I remember they sold them here in the states for a while. Though I haven't seen them on sale for a while but you could find them if you look hard enough. Usually in the end of a snack isle or something.

Kettle-cooked chips are made differently. They are sliced a little thicker and are made in batches vs. continuous line production. I think they also use a lower oil temperature.
They end up being more substantial with a bigger crunch.
