The flavor packet.
Hoisin sauce.
Throw in some frozen vegetables like corn or peas while the water is boiling.

What are everyone's thoughts on stuff like cabbage? Like, if I threw it in just a short while before it's done.

Ah, thank you.

A little black pepper and some green onions always perks up ramen.
I like to put some chopped onion and some soy sauce in as the water boils, and then mix some chunks of roast lamb shoulder into the broth when it's done
>chili is too spicy for any other flavor to come through
Chili flavor isn't that spicy at all though. Some of the asian brand ramens in that picture are spicier than that. I usually have to add habenero powder to ramen to bring it up to the level of a good spicy ramen from Japan.
This completely changes up the meal, but cook it like mac and cheese and make a good cheese sauce to mix in with it.
If you want to keep it a normal ramen, put a little ground beef in there.
what do you do with the egg?
set it carefully beside the ramen so it doesn't break
Just picked up some imported Nissin Raoh (pork bone broth) and some imported Samyang 2x Spicy Chicken
How'd I do?
