>mixologist
I mean, I really enjoy gitting gud at making cocktails and probably obsess over that shit slightly, but people who use the term mixologist unironically need to burn in hell.
>tfw passed out in line at subway last week
Are you dissing the Almighty Bob?
On my cooking board?
Oh I am a massive cocktail geek (trained in high volume cocktail bars, went through Barsmarts), but I find it masturbatory. Like calling a hooker an escort.
From my experience I feel like using it undermines the service aspect of the industry.
i mean.. as a girl this is prob the equivalent of looking at asa akira just begging for it.
He's actually just giving an interview.
So what name should they advertise their profession with? Any Parkinson's-free schmuck with strong legs has what it takes to be a 'bartender' serving lagers.
>cocktail geek
I just hopped into this thread because this phrase set me off. "Mixologist" I don't mind. "Cocktail geek" though, please die in a fire thanks in advance.
